34 Back in action

Kakashi was sitting alone on a branch reading the latest inclusion in the icha icha war that began once shizune became slighted at jiraiya's latest work so they began mass releasing books. As he tried to turn the page he felt his chakra fluctuate before a *poof* followed by a thump on the ground. "The hell?" Toriko questioned before gazing up at the scarecrow. "Oya your back so soon toriko-kun".

"Ah I'm back from my trip kakashi, I'm heading to tsunade sensei to report back" he replied while kakashi waved his hands dismissively. Toriko vanishes from his spot shocking kakashi at his speed. Kakashi then looks at the hokage tower before shutting his book. "I should train, can't let them overtake me just yet".

Meanwhile Toriko enters tsunade's office to find the room filled with shadow clones of her and shizune frantically filing papa rework. "I see you took my advice tsunade-sensei". The room stopped and glanced at the window with the sun beaming in obscuring Torikos figure. As he hopped down from the ledge they could see the fine young man he has became. Shizune but her lip slightly while tsunade welcomed him back openly.

"Welcome back my student, how faired the training" Toriko reached for his belt and pulled out several scrolls and placing them in her hands. "That's the knocking technique, this is the body hair needle generation, unique poisons and herbs from the wolf territory, my latest thesis lighting and water release in healing arts and that last scroll contains wolf berry wine and a horse sage oyakodon for each of you".

Tsunade smiles happily at the mention of the medical material but squealed when she heard about the wine. Before she could open it shizune smacked her hand with a ruler. "Tsunade-Sama you have work to file." She spoke harshly.

"Fine, toriko seeing as your here you have an S rank mission. Your to head out to kumogakaure and investigate the whereabouts of the two tails jinchuriki as jiraiya gathered more intel about the akatsuki and their targets. They're likely to start with the first or second tailed beast so went want an expert tracker who could fight her if need be. You fit the bill". Shizune glared at tsunade for sending him off.

"No problem tsunade-sensei I'll finish it ASAP"

Before he blurred away as the door was slammed open by several desperate women. Tsunade swivelled round to see a fully grown hana who resembled her Shippūden counter part except with wilder hair, nice assets and a manic expression. "Where is he hokage-Sama! I can smell him" she howled as she searched for toriko. "Why the rush hana chan" she asked.

"He said when he returned he'd fight my mother for the rite to be alpha! Where did he go". "That's classified as he's left for a S rank mission that cant be divulged". Several veins appeared on the women's faces. They slowly turned to shizune who was oddly quite while looking coldly at her master "she sent him after a jinchuriki" she stated calmly.

A massive dust cloud formed as the women who were desperate to see toriko after his long absence chased towards his residual traces. There was only a whiff left of his musk which he learned to mask but Hana could track that anywhere. The two guards didn't know what passed them as several people were heading towards kumogakaure.

Toriko himself took advantage of his speed went full blast so he could return home to be with his family as soon as he could not knowing that the family was about to track him down and teach him a lesson.
