1 Chapter 1: Determination

After leaving his home town Amos started his successful 2nd semester.

*Sigh* After sighing from boredom Amos decided to hum a song that has been in his head for quite some time

"I've been tik toking while I'm walking

with my dogs and Milly rockin'... "

" whose there" said Amos.

" Shut the f*** up" said the random stranger

*Hmph* " I'll show, I'll show everybody" Amos reaches into his backpack with assurance ready to pull something out

*Bang*

He reaches down to pick up his phone that just fell.

"Today has been really bad for no reason, I get cussed at and now I drop my phone, what a shame"

"Welp, time to get to class"

As Amos walked to class, he could see the new faces of incoming freshmen even though this is the second semester at the University of Houston.

Walking to his English class he realizes that he can't find it.

" where the heck is building 'S'" said Amos

Apparently the building was hiding from him. He went to the building his last English class was and asked the different professors where building 'S' is.

40 minutes into class Amos asks a random passerby named Dave

" Bro, I did the exact same thing when I had the same class" Dave switches from coding to google maps tells me I have to walk along the construction site and enter through the sketchy gate and that will be the entrance into the science building. All though I appreciate the help I was confused as to why there is an English class in the Science Building>

"Finally" As Amos walks into his English class his professor just finished reading a story on why fundamental English is important.

" get into groups and answer these three questions" said the Professor.

" What did I miss" Amos said to his group of three other people.

" A lot"

" Why are you so late" they said.

"umm, I couldn't find the class" said Amos with a hint of dejection

" True most of us were late too, but you were almost an hour late" said the other student.

" Ehh I couldn't find the right person to ask for directions" said Amos.

"D*mn" said the other student.

" Alright guys, let's end class early today, and some of you should try getting to class on time next week"

As the class ended Amos walked to the bus stop in an attempt to get home.

As he arrived at home Amos checked the fridge in order to see if there is any food at home only to see it empty as it has been for the last 6 months.

" Can't find a job, I have no money, I spend too much time reading on Webnovel. I really need to get my life together."

" Whatever, one day I will have everything in the grasp of my palm"

" Oh really" Said an unknown and eerie voice.
