"Hey, Sian. Can you really see ghosts?" Jia asked me while wondering.

"Yeah."

"Really?"

"Yeah," I repeated.

"Wow, that's so cool. Can you see one right now?"

"Yes."

"Really?! Where?!"

"There's one right next to you."

As I said that, I quickly turned and landed a dropkick on the middle-aged ghost beside her. The asshole flew away. How dare he try and touch her?

"Oh!"

"Don't worry. He's gone," I assured her, patting her on the head. Jia proceeded to throw her arms around me. This will never get old.

"Hey, Sian."

"Yeah?"

"Are you really going to go on the show? Won't it be scary?" Jia asked, sounding scared herself.

"I'm not scared."
