As it happened, Tan Wenci was the type of person who would say whatever was on his mind. He wasn't someone who would smile at a person and spread rumors about them behind their backs.

If Tan Wenci had been that kind of person who always acted kind to others but then would stab them in the back, they would never have learned that they had offended him until they were in deep trouble.

He couldn't believe that the actress actually had had the nerve to pretend that she didn't know Tan Wenci and his wife. If the couple were to punish him for that, it would've all been her fault.

"I had no idea that Mr. and Mrs. Tan didn't like her or else I would never have tried to introduce her to you." Chairman Zhu smiled awkwardly before turning to Yu Yixian angrily. "You! Are you trying to ruin me?"
