Maxed Man

"I'm alright, Mike. Talk to you later." Lenny didn't wait for Mike to respond before he abruptly ended the call.

'What the… How did it disappear? Did someone carry it away as I slept?' Alert, he stood up and scanned his surroundings for the vending machine, but to no avail.

The room was fairly wide, with broken and swollen walls covered in grime, three broken windows that allowed sunlight to peer in, and two rusted bed frames, with one missing a leg, along with hardened dirty slim beds and other equipment drawn here and there.

Taking a deep breath, he dusted the dirt off his black long-sleeve t-shirt and blue jeans. However, certain parts of the clothing where he had more contact with the dirty floor were too stained to be easily dusted off.

Ignoring that, Lenny focused his mind on the issue at hand, deducing three possible assumptions.
