The time slowly drifted on with the progress of Aoi's programing. Though he wasn't able to really create the game himself alone, it was a lot of work to create the perfect VR headset that would enter the next stage of gaming. The current VR available was rather bland, were you could only control some poor movement with controls, or had a badly synced sensor that had awkward movements in the game.

Though Aoi had enjoyed his previous games, he wondered how it would be to just completely enter a game for short bursts of time. Since he was focusing on this task, he wasn't having issues with his nightmares nor was he overly panicked about talking to his therapist like the start. He would just mutter about his creation, while talking with Bai when the other was free from work.

All in all, Aoi's time was going rather well, finishing his school and graduating did open up some time as he began to put the final touches on his VR simulation. The program would sync to ones thoughts via sensors connected to the underside of the VR headset. Following that, you would enter a state of 'rest' were the body was left immobilized while one was in the game. There is however a contingency in case something were to happen. Should the VR headset suffer a glitch or malfunction, then the sensors will be unable to process. The coding is set so that if anything alters the function coding, then it will no longer work.

This will also prevent others from messing or hacking into players VR headsets to set up cheats, or other things. Only Things that Aoi himself programs into the headset will work! Why was it set up this way? Because in anime and manga, or other stories there were always someone that caused issues by messing with the projects by changing it somehow. Or stealing the credit. Now, it was perfectly safe to use, and unable to be tampered with!

What more, there would be no random transmigrating or someone getting stuck into the game! Aoi wasn't sure why, but he didn't trust that something like that would happen if he hadn't put in this added feature.

With the basics of programing done, Aoi was able to start working on the Virtual side. Since he didn't have the talent for art, and what he could design with coding was limited in the aspect of visuals. Aoi made a small demo on how the VR headset would work, while making a very short immersion of the general idea of his game. It was rather crude to look at, but the initial idea was still being displayed.

One had the ability to feel the environment within the game. Though for various reasons, the pain indicators were left undetectable. Why? Because Aoi didn't want to actually feel pain while playing a game. Simulating the feel of grass, the brush of wind, the taste of food? The touch of another player. It would be nice, but who would want to feel what it felt to be beaten to a bloody pulp? Or to be stabbed? Or die by mistake during a quest? Thus, Aoi felt it only reasonable that the only thing one could not feel was pain!

When Bai had tested the world within him, it was rather awkward because Aoi's art could be rather...childish. It looked like a group of children had drawn the landscape though 3d, rather badly. The avatars were even worse, mostly stick figure! However, it got the idea out. It would need a lot of help in the visual aspect.

Thankfully though, Aoi was rather happy regardless of how the visuals would turn out. His programing was interesting enough even with the poorly drawn demo. Thus, Aoi's new task after working for several years was to find a platform to buy his Idea and help him finish the game! Easier said then done.

Most game company's were rather strict with how they came up with gaming ideas, and those high dollar companies didn't really allow just anyone to come in and talk with the gaming designers. Thus, Aoi was sending out emails, and requests for someone to take the chance so he could even just set up a meeting! His frustration with this process was more bearable with Bai helping him.

Finally, after a few months of looking for someone to help him finish his game, Aoi finally got word back from a company. And it had been the company that had created Taoist Immortal! Thus, with a heart of joy, Aoi readied himself for this meeting, with Bai assisting him at the side, taking a day off from his real job to help Aoi make his presentation.
