1 Introduction

Mia Smith, a 16 year old teen had always a simple life with no drama. But there was one thing that made her every day special, her childhood friend William Johnson whom she called Willy. Both practically grew together. They lived in apartments next to each other. Both were inseparable. They played together, fought together, eat together. As they grew, Mia started having feelings for Willy which he, being a dense person he was, was unaware of. He was handsome and thus got confessions from many girls which he rejected. He was no Playboy. So, he was not interested in relationships which were not supposed to last longer. Mia admired him and his ideals. At the age of 12, she realized she was in love with him when a girl forcefully kissed Willy on his cheek on his birthday and she cried the whole night.

By the time they entered the high school, Mia's feelings grew stronger and she decided to confess her love to Willy with a little hope of reciprocation. She knew Willy treated her as a best friend. She did and to her surprise, Willy agreed to go out with her with the most genuine smile. Mia was on cloud nine that day. Since they both lived next to each other, they went always went home together after school. But that day, in addition to returning from school together, they were holding hands together.
