23 Chapter 22

Claire's P.O.V.

The continuous smile and tinglings never left me ever since I came back home last night. A day can be this beautiful, I never thought. I finally got something normal in my life. It was about sunset time when I smiled widely looking at the pictures that we took yesterday. Gosh! I was not myself yesterday. But still, I was thrilled at the thought of not being myself. I just couldn't wait for tomorrow to come.

I felt like I finally got to meet my old self after so long. Because I was certain, the new me would've never been this crazy and outgoing with someone, -- so alive, so cheerful.

"What are we smiling at?" Dad asked from beside me. We were watching a piano performance on the tv but I had no focus on the tv. I was drifted in my thoughts.

"Nothing," I said as I quickly pressed the power button and turned off the mobile. He looked at me, more like observed me and turned his face to watch tv with a smirk on his face.
