17 Chapter 16

Claire's P.O.V.

The fresh smell of leaves hit my nostrils and the cold wind hit my hand harshly as I took it out of the window. I felt so free as I have ever in so long. The ride was silent, the air was rushing through my ears loudly as Ryan was speeding to God knew where.

"You're not actually kidnapping me, right? We have been driving for 30 minutes." I said looking over at him.

"35 minutes to be exact. And we are here." He said. I looked forward as he turned right to some rough patches of road. There were a lot of trees and very few sources of light. He stopped by a large land where there was a small building in a far corner with few lights around it. We got out of the car.

"I am second-guessing my decision of coming here. Seems like a perfect place to bury me, Hernandez." I said hugging my robe around me tightly. He chuckled loudly. His voice disrupted the silence.
