13 Chapter 12

Claire's P.O.V.

The sound of the ding echoed through the whole quiet house. I got up and brought the freshly baked lasagna out of the microwave. It smelled amazing. I took it out in a square dish, putting it on the dining table. I was about to go and call out dad for the dinner but he entered the kitchen.

"It smells delicious. I was craving lasagna for so long. How did you know?" Dad said but I just laughed at his cute reaction.

I cut the big slice of lasagna. It was super cheesy, falling out of the slice, just how dad liked it and put it on dad's plate. Then I took a slice for myself and we started eating. We just told each other about our days and then we're eating silently until I spoke;

"I went to dinner last night... with Ryan." I started. Dad looked up at me with calm expressions, urging me to continue. "And...?"
