9 First Fight

"Thank you for your patronage" The cashier bowed to the handsome gray hair customer in front of him.

"Hmmm," The gray boy nodded and exited the convenience store.

When he stepped out of the convenience store. His eyes shone from the surrounding splendor. In every direction, there was a skyscraper, tall buildings, and luxury shops. After admiring the busy city for a second. He cast his eyes toward two boys standing a few meters from him and called at them.

"Ryo, izaki let's go" Novan shouts catching their attention.

"Okay boss," they replied while rushing towards him and standing beside his left and right.

I unwrap the new cigarette box that, i recently bought from the convenience store. Pull out one cigarette from the box, and place it in my mouth while not forgetting to offer them.

"Do you want it?" I asked them and shove the cigarette box toward them.

"Nah, I'm okay Boss" Izaki replies and politely rejects.

"..." Roy shook his head, expressing that he doesn't want.

Receiving their reply, I shrugged my shoulders. Placed the cigarette box in my pocket, and ignited the cigarette with a match I held in my right hand. Sucked in the smoke and blew it out.

*Puff*

"Sigh...there's no better way to start your day than with one cigarette in the early morning. It is perfect if you have a hot cup of coffee..." I groaned in satisfaction, feeling alive. The negative bad habits, i had in my previous life followed me into this new life. But i didn't care, life is short and you must enjoy every second of it.

"Okay, let's go. There are still 30 minutes from the agreed time to meet Emma. We can take our time," I say to them and stroll toward the direction of the temple that I and Emma promise.

Ryo and Izaki nodded their head and didn't say much, silently walking behind Novan one step away.

Once i finished talking to Izaki at my home, i decided to go to the temple early, apart from not wanting Emma to wait. I had to get my supplement, which is my cigarette. So here we are, strolling across the sidewalk, admiring the surrounding scenery.

While my eyes are sparkling looking at the surrounding beautiful women. I caught sight of a group of people dragging a woman toward the dark alleyway not far from me. And covering her mouth so that she can't scream.

The nearby passerby wants to help this poor girl but was scared to death. After being threatened by this group of gangsters with fearsome faces. So they back away timidly while taking out their phones, seemingly wanting to call the police. And At this moment, a system notification sound appears.

"Okay good, let's go, or it will be too late," i replied while dashing in a hurry toward the alleyway.

When we reach the alleyway. I just caught in time to see four guys who look 15 years old, surrounding one woman that looks the same age as them. At the center laughing and attempting to do bad things towards her.

"Hehehehe beauty just be obedient and don't resist" Cannon Fodder No.1 grinning with a wretched face.

"Hey hey we got a jackpot, it is not a waste to stand there for a long time" Cannon Fodder No.2 laughed maniacally.

"Idiot stops wasting time. Get over it already before somebody comes." Cannon Fodder No.3 cursed the two guys who keep wasting time.

"Yeah, stop playing around, you two. We can't make our beauty wait" Cannon Fodder No.4 who looks like the leader of these three, walks towards the girl step by step. With his hand in his pocket, grinning evilly, examine the goods in front of him.

"N-No!!! step away or i W-will call the police." The girl backed away in fright and threatened the evil people in front of her with a pale face.

"Hehehe, how can you call the police in your situation right now?" The Cannon fodder No.4 which is the boss of this people, laughed mockingly at her. But still walked swaggeringly towards her with a slow step. When the distance is about 1 meter away, he reaches his hands and attempts wants to grab her.

"N-Noo!!! please s-somebody save me!!!!" she shouts at the top of her lungs, hoping that somebody can hear her voice. Tears welled up in her eyes, streaming down her cheeks. Feeling desperate about the situation that she is in. When she thought that there will be no one to help her, she hears a faint voice coming from her left. That voice is like an angel when she is in her darkest time.

"Hey trash, can you put your dirty hands away from her?" Novan says casting a cold eye towards the cannon fodder in front of him.

"Huh, who are you??!! Mind Your Own Business!!!"

"Yeah, get lost if you don't want to get beaten!!!"

"Hehehe, if you want to die early, you're welcome!!"

"Who are you? Don't meddle in our affair! you shrimp!!" Cannon fodder No.4 said in an irritated voice and retract his hands from the woman in front of him. And looked towards Novan with a frown on his face.

"I'm just an ordinary human who wants to save a helpless girl from the clutch of the trash of society like you. By the way, recently i needed a punching bag to test my new skill, i think i found a suitable target in front of me." A wide grin spread across Novan's face like a devil. Making the cannon fodder shiver down their spine when looking at him.

"Shut your crap, scram or you regretted it later" Canon fodder No.4 replied with a ferocious face.

"Ryo, Izaki you stay at your place and don't interfere with my fighting, i need to practice my hands a little." i convey to the two of them not paying attention to the harsh words of the dead man in front of him. And doing a simple warm-up.

Glimpsing at the system in front of me to look at the Level of these people, three D+ Grades and one C- Grade. After seeing this shitty attribute. I stopped looking and told myself to get over it and finish this unequal battle. Maybe we can have fun a little bit to test my new attribute.
