I Am & Will Be

In a small town.

Dec. 23 in a year that nobody would understand,

300 years, 12,706 yearlings and 40 months.

The 23rd of the day my sister was blind.

December daughter of End Year and patron of winter and death. Let my beloved sister live another year, yearlings, month, and day but no weeks, because there is no such thing in my world. In books but not here. No Monday, no Tuesday, no Wednesday, no Thursday, no Friday, no Saturday, and no Sunday. My world ruled upon, Kings, Queens, Knights, and so on.

Protagonist and Antagonist, but not in my small town.

That day, 8 days left before December claimed my sister. I made her promise. One that was meant to say, I am always here and will be here until death has taken what is theirs.

You are my sister, not the older one and not younger one but the center of the bond that connects the three daughter of a family that lived in peace. Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter who we made a promise that this will be are knight. A dream far a way now that your gone.

I remember, the day when Amaryllis made a vow, when your were blind. She said "I am & will be the eyes that you no longer have. I'll be your guide and your hope."

This vow meant everything for Orla, and when Dec. 24th came and Amaryllis who made the no longer could hear the joy of Orla. Upon seeing what happen, Orla cried in corner, saying to herself "I committed a crime and I repent for what I done. I have accepted my fate, so spare the innocent."

I sat beside Orla and spoke "You were never a sinner in the beginning and end. So don't cry because I vow to Amaryllis, the same but different vow that she made for you. No matter what happens I will by my vow. I am & will be the ears that she no longer has. I"'ll be her listener and her trust. So don't cry because together we will always be one."

"What if the world doesn't want us to be together. What if one day I am no longer here but somewhere far in the Diamond Kingdom."

"Then your spirit will be a part of us because together we are one. The three season sister, and are prince. Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter, who we promise will be are prince. Amaryllis, Idalia, and Orla."

"Then why did they name me Fall, Idalia, why?

Is it because that's my fate? You and Amaryllis were to bloom, while I am meant to fall, to my death." I couldn't think of anything else to say to her as I watch the tears in her eyes fall.

Dec. 25th. I, Idalia could no longer speak. I could no longer comfort my sister and I fell. Just like Amaryllis and Orla, and when they saw what happen. Amaryllis and Orla said "I am & will be..." I could no longer stand those words and before they finish I remember I started to kick at them and I ask them to stop with my actions. They did and everything went silent.

Dec. 26th Orla could no longer hear.

Dec. 27th Orla could no longer speak.

Dec. 28th Orla could no longer walk.

Dec. 29th Orla was in an accident and could no longer use her arm. Her accident happen we she was taking a stroll outside in her wheelchair. When she was passing by a sidewalk that went down hill, she couldn't handle gravity. Her arms were badly injured and were cut.

Dec. 30th Orla died from malignant brain cancer. It was found to late and was claimed brain dead.

Dec. 31st Orla' s funeral was held at Linwood Cemetery.
