Chapter 2

I fell to the ground. Feeling pain in my butt I raise my head to see the guy who just caused me the trouble. Funny enough the guy just looked at me like he'd seen a ghost or something like that. This caused me to grimace at him. "Well are you just gonna stand there or help me up?"i said irritably. That got him to snap out of it. He quickly got near me and extend his hand so that I can grab it for support.

"Sorry about that, I was preoccupied. Hehehe" he said shamefully. "Yeah right. Next time don't do that. You might get into bigger trouble." I said to him a little sarcastically. "I'll keep that in mind." Then he winked at me. I managed to roll my eyes at that. Flirty aren't you? I said to myself. "What's you're name again?" He asked. "Uhm sorry but I don' tell my name to strangers." Then I started to walk pass him going to the direction Alex went for our ice cream. He continued to follow me "My names Xavier Diaz. 21, I'm new to this place. how about you?" He expended his hands offering me a hand shake. "Uhm....."

"Kate! " a voiced called me outloud. I turned my head to see who it is. It was Alex walking to our direction with the Choco fudge ice cream. By the looks of it he wasn't happy with what he saw. " hey this guy bothering you?"he said suspiciously. A little bit, I managed to say to myself. "Oh no. He was just asking me something". " yup! I was just about to ask her number. By the way my name's Xavier Diaz.and you are?" He extend his hand for a hand shake. Alex shaked hands with him. "Alex Cortes, sorry my friend but she's off limits. Got that?" He said while slightly raising his brows." Ok, so Kate I'll go ahead huh. Uhm nice to meet yah. See you around then. Bye" he stared to walk away from us. " k,bye". He waved good bye then continued to his path.

" hey what was that about, Kate? "Alex asked me quizzically. "Nothing. Alex can you give me now my ice cream I've been waiting for you to give it to me. The ice cream won't eat itself you know." I said trying to avoid further discussion. "Uhm no. Not until you tell me what happened back their." He manage to say teasingly. "Hahaha what ever. He was just trying to flirt with me. I guess you got him threatened that's why he left immediately." Slightly laughing at the thought of it. " I guess I have didn't I. I'm much more good looking than him, aren't I Kate?" He said while suppressing his laughter. " hahaha very funny Cortes,. My ice cream please" .

Then he gave me my ice cream. I don't want to make it a big deal. I don't expect to see the guy much sooner. What matters now is that I got my ice cream and my best friend to serve as my happy pill. This is enough for me. Let those guys chase after me then. Hahaha. I laugh at the thought.

Alex and I head home. He didn't bother ask me again about earlier so I guess he'll forget about that now. I was in front of my house. I waved good bye to Alex whose house was just a block away from mine."woof woof woof" his tail was waggling while he close are distance.

"Bruce, how are yah? Did you miss me today?" I said while rubbing his ears. "Woof Wolff" he manage to reply. I gave him his treat then went to my room to get some rest.
