4 The truth

"Jeez your fast." Todoroki said out of breath.

"And your slow." I laughed a bit

We walked up to my front door to be greeted by my mom

"Oh look at that, the boy that walked you home yesterday too." My mom said hard staring Todoroki.

" Yes mom is it okay if I have him over?" I said in a sorta annoyed voice.

"He's going in your room?" She said with a questioning look

" Yes I was suppose to show him my drawings but I forgot to bring them to school with me."

"Fine. He doesn't stay late." She said letting me and Todoroki into the door.

" Thank you miss." Todoroki said bowing before coming in.

" My room is this way." I said pointing to the small hallway and the door on the side.

My house is pretty small but comfortable, I Don't really invite people over because I never had friends besides (bf/n) but when she's not available it gets lonely. So this feels nice.

" Your house is small." He laughed a bit.

" I know, but I like it." I said laughing with him.

"So your drawings?" He said looking at me.

"O-oh yeah." Why tf did I stutter idk.

"Let me get them." I said walking towards my closet. Todoroki nodded.

I grabbed my sketching book with drawings from realistic to animation looking. I pulled out my best 3 from the book then walked back to the bed.

" Here, not much but I tried." I said handing him the papers.

" There awsome! How did you even do this?" He said with his eyes going wide.

"Just a lot of practice." I said while scratching the top of my head a little.

"Teach me." He said looking at me while still holding my drawings.

"Really?"

"Yeah, I mean this is amazing I want to learn."

He said looking back down at the drawings.

"Okay then, here let me get a blank piece of paper, and my drawing stuff." I said while walking back to my closet, and walking back to my bed with supplies.

" That's a lot of drawing stuff."

"Well what can I say, I love drawing, it makes me happy." I said looking at him with a big smile.

"Here let me show you the first steps."

And from there I taught him my good taticts for drawing and what not.

" Ha, I never knew that I could draw like that." He said holding up the picture he drew.

" It just takes a good coach." I said playfully punching him in the arm.

" I guess your a good one then." He said smiling towards me.

I blushed a bit.

"Looks like I make someone nervous." He said teasing me.

" You don't make me nervous." I said looking down.

" Then look at me in the eyes."

I looked up at him.

" See I'm not nervous, plus I met you like 2 days ago why would I be nervous?" I said the sentence Rather quickly.

" Ha, sounds like something we both need to figure out."

Did he just say both??? I was now blushing hard. I hate being in situations like this, it's embarrassing.

"Hey (y/n) Dinners ready!" My mom yelled from the kitchen.

Oh thank God!

I ran to the kitchen and Todoroki got up behind me following me laughing a bit.

We sat down at the table and of course my mom showered him with questions hoping he was a good friend and what not. After that we said our goodbyes and he left.

"So how was your day (y/n)?"

"Oh man, it was eventful, remember that boy with anger problems I told you about yesterday?"

"Yes, what about him? You didn't get into another fight did you? Your going to get kicked out if you keep doing that."

"Well not a fight but I got suspension with him and Allmights punishment was to stay in a room with him until we get along." I said rolling my eyes.

"Did you say... Allmight.." My mom said freezing in place.

"Yeah what about him?"

"Oh no." My mom fell to the floor and put her hands on her head.

" Mom whats wrong?!" I said running towards her side.

" A -Allmights your father.." She said barely getting the words out

" What?" I said standing up suddenly.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner (Y/n)."

I didn't believe what I was hearing. I ran out the door.

"(Y/n) wait!" My mom said starting to stand up

I didn't listen I just ran, I didn't know what to do with this kind of news. This hurt.

"Hello?"

"I need a place to stay." I said with my voice cracking.

"Why what happened? Are you okay?" He said concerned.

"No." I said on the verge of tears.

"Okay, Okay, um meet me at the address I'm about to text you."

" Okay, thank you.. So much."

" It's no problem. We will talk when you get here."

And with that we hung up. Thoughts ran through my head, all of a sudden the memory of losing my brother came back to me.

Why... Why now... I thought.

Todoroki's POV

I left (y/n) house with a smile on my face, she was sure fun to talk to and hang out with. And it's cute when she gets flustered. I hope we start to get closer. Before I knew it I was home.

"SHOTO, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN."

Oh great my father..

"I went to a friend's." I said bluntly.

" You should be training! Not going to a friends house!"

"I'm sorry it won't happen again.." I said looking down I went towards my room.

Once I was in my room I was pretty tired so I was about to go to sleep, but then I heard my phone ring. It was (y/n)

"Hello."

"I need a place to stay." Her voice sounded like she was on the verge of tears.. It made me sad that she was.

"Why what happened? Are you okay?" I said starting to question her worried that something bad may have happened.

"No." She said still sounding like she was about the cry. It sounded if she said another word she would break.

" Okay, Okay, um meet me at the address. I'm about to text you." I said immediately

"Okay, thank you.. So much." She said with relief in her voice.

"It's no problem, we'll talk when you get here." And with that we hung up.

I put on a jacket and climbed out my window, my house was rather big compared to hers, but thank God I had a tree by my window to climb down. If my father found out I was doing this. I sure would have a major punishment. I climbed down the tree and waited by the side of the house occasionally peeking the corner to see if (y/n) was here. About 20 minutes later I seen her figure walk up to the big house. I quickly walked over to her, she was in front of me so I tapped her on the shoulder, she jumped a bit and turned around. Her eyes were red and watery but no tears left her eyes.

" You know you don't have to look strong in frong of me.. It's okay to cry." I said with my hand still on her shoulder.

She stayed silent, trying to hold it in.

"Are you okay?"

Her face started scrunching as if she was about to cry, just then she hugged me and put her face in my chest silently crying.

I put my hand around her hugging her back.

"It's going to be okay." I said rubbing her back slightly.

All that came from her were silent sobs.

"Let's get inside." I said while still hugging her.

I took her to the side of the house. I looked up at the tree and looked at her.

" Can you climb." I asked with a hand on her back

"Yeah." She said with a cracky voice.

Me and (y/n) started climbing the tree, it didn't take long to get into my window and climb in.

As soon as (y/n) got in she sat on my bed, finally calming down from crying and just sat there looking numb.

"Talk to me." I said sitting next to her.

"I-I." She put her head in her Hands. I immediately put my hand on her back.

"It's okay if your not ready to talk about it." I said in a calming voice.

"This is embarrassing." She said with a little giggle still with her face on her hands.

"How? I just see a pretty girl, that needs some comfort."

She put her face out of her hands and laughed

"There she is." I laughed with her.

"How is it that it's been 3 days but we're this close, it almost feels like I Met you before."

She said now looking at me.

" I feel like that too." I said looking back at her, she was still pretty even if she was crying.. It was amazing.

"You look tired now, why don't you sleep in my bed, I'll sleep in the chair." I said walking over to the chair.

"No, no its your house."

"And you the guest." I said putting my head back.

"Good night (y/n) I said before she could say anything back

I seen her lay on my bed and snuggle herself up in my covers. It was cute. And with that thought I drifted off to sleep.
