4 Training (1)

A/N: Sorry, I couldn't upload a chapter earlier, and no I haven't dropped this fic. School has just started and I am in my last year before I decide if I am going University or not. So, uploads may be slow as I have catching up to do and have exams soon. And sorry if this chapter was short, I just wanted to upload it as soon as possible.

As they stepped into the dimly lit room, Naoki quickly made his way to his bed, eager to start practicing the leaf concentration exercise. The room was small, with a wooden dresser on one side and a small window on the other, allowing the moonlight to softly illuminate the room. Naoki sat cross-legged on his bed, holding a single leaf delicately in his hand. With a deep breath, he carefully placed the leaf on his forehead, making sure it was centred.

The first few attempts were unsuccessful, the leaf getting damaged each time. Frustration began to creep in, but Naoki didn't give up. Instead, he decided to try a different approach. He started by inserting only a small amount of chakra, instead of all of it. After a few more attempts, the leaf still wasn't sticking to his forehead, but it wasn't getting damaged either. He kept trying with the same amount of chakra until he was finally able to make the leaf stick without damaging it.

As he gained more control, he gradually increased the amount of chakra he used. Time seemed to fly by as he focused solely on the exercise, constantly adjusting his chakra to keep the leaf balanced on his forehead. Two hours later, he finally stopped, feeling a sense of satisfaction wash over him. It wasn't because he was tired; in fact, he had only used up half of his chakra. It was because he had reached a satisfactory level of chakra control - he could now manipulate up to 10% of his chakra with ease. With a sense of accomplishment, he crawled into bed, ready to rest before the next day's training.

--The Next Day--

As Naoki was exercising near the river, the sound of water flowing could be heard in the background, accompanied by the chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves. The trees around him provided shade and shelter from the sun's rays, and the cool breeze blew gently through his hair.

Naoki's movements were quick and precise, each push-up and sit-up executed with the utmost form and control. His breathing was deep and steady, and his muscles were toned and well-defined. Tsunade and Shizune observed him carefully, making small adjustments to his form and giving occasional words of encouragement.

During his 10-minute break, Naoki sat by the river, watching the water flow by and listening to the sounds of nature around him. He took out a leaf and placed it on his forehead, concentrating his chakra into a single point. The leaf slowly started to stick to his forehead, and Naoki grinned with satisfaction.

As the day progressed, Naoki's stamina and endurance were put to the test. He pushed through the fatigue and exhaustion, fuelled by his determination to become stronger. By mid-day, he had completed hours of rigorous exercise, and his body was drenched in sweat.

As he rested by the riverbank, Naoki reflected on his progress. His body was sore and tired, but he felt a sense of accomplishment and pride. With the guidance of Tsunade and Shizune, he knew he was on the path to becoming a powerful ninja.

"Enough! That will be all for today." Tsunade's voice boomed across the area, causing Naoki to stop his exercises and turn towards her.

Naoki's response was quick as he exclaimed, "Ehh?! But I can keep going, Tsuna-neesan!"

"Listen here, Naoki. Resting is just as important as training, and you can't neglect it. Your body needs time to recover and heal, especially with the intensity of the exercise you've been doing. Overworking yourself now can lead to long-term damage that will affect your growth in the future. Trust me, I've seen it happen before. So, take a break today and come back stronger tomorrow." Tsunade advised with a serious tone, emphasizing the importance of balancing training and rest.

"Listen up, Naoki. Just because you need to rest your body, it doesn't mean you should give up on your training altogether. Instead, focus on improving your chakra control by continuing with the leaf concentration exercise. You will be doing this exercise for the next month, and after that, I will be increasing the difficulty. In two days, I will be teaching you tree walking as part of your chakra control, but I expect you to have a good grasp of your chakra by then. Otherwise, there's no point in even trying to learn tree walking." Tsunade explained sternly, emphasizing the importance of chakra control and dedication to training.

-----

Naoki continued his training regime for the next two days with dedication and persistence. Every morning, he would begin with his routine of stretches, push ups, sit ups, pull ups and jogging. He would then move on to the leaf concentration exercise, which he had now become quite adept at. With ease, he could channel a good portion of his chakra into a single leaf without damaging it.

However, Naoki was not one to rest on his laurels. He wanted to push himself further, to challenge his limits. And so, he decided to increase the difficulty of the exercise by adding another leaf to another part of his body. This was a daunting task, as it required him to flow his chakra in different directions, while controlling both leaves at the same time. Naoki struggled with this new level of difficulty, as he found it difficult to focus on both leaves simultaneously. He found that if he thought of one leaf a little more than the other, he would either damage it or channel more chakra into the one he was concentrating on.

Despite the difficulties he faced, Naoki persevered. He continued to practice the exercise, focusing on controlling his chakra flow to both leaves equally. With each passing day, he improved, gaining more control over his chakra and his concentration.

On the second day, Naoki made a breakthrough with the leaf concentration exercise. Instead of struggling to force his chakra to flow onto the two leaves, he decided to try a different approach. He stopped thinking and commanding his chakra, and instead focused on his chakra flow. With this new technique, Naoki could feel the chakra moving inside of him, as if it had a mind of its own. He concentrated on guiding the chakra with his willpower, and as he did so, the chakra flowed smoothly and calmly onto the two leaves.

It was like a wave of energy moving through his body, and Naoki could feel the power of his chakra increasing with each passing moment. He was amazed at how much easier it was to control his chakra with this new method. It was like he had finally unlocked a secret to mastering his chakra that he had been missing all along.

As he continued to practice this new technique, Naoki could feel his chakra becoming more refined and focused. It was like he was honing a weapon, sharpening it to a fine point until it was ready to strike with deadly precision. And with each passing moment, he could feel himself getting closer and closer to his goal of mastering his chakra control.
