2 4 Year Time-Skip

As they journeyed towards the southeast of the Fire country, a trio of adventurers eagerly anticipated their arrival at Onshimoto village. The small town, nestled near the Land of Tea, was famous for its delectable sushi and unparalleled alcoholic beverages, making it a well-known destination for food enthusiasts and travelers alike within the Land of Fire.

A/N- Onshimoto isn't a real village, just a village I decided to make up.

"Hey, Tsuna-nee! Can you help me learn how to use chakra? I wanna be a ninja and do all sorts of amazing jutsu!" Naoki exclaimed with excitement bubbling from his voice. His eyes glimmered with anticipation as he looked up at Tsunade, hoping she would finally agree to teach him. Despite his eagerness, Tsunade had to carefully assess his chakra reserves before attempting to unlock and train his abilities. Naoki's chakra was unlike any she had ever seen before, even for someone with such powerful lineage. With caution in mind, Tsunade made sure to delay the process so as not to harm his young and still-developing body. It was a delicate balance between pushing him enough to improve, but not so much as to cause harm. She knew that with patience and training, Naoki had the potential to become a truly remarkable ninja.

"As I've said to you repeatedly, Naoki, your body simply can't withstand the immense pressure of the chakra you possess. It's akin to trying to fill a balloon that's already at its bursting point." Tsunade retorted, her patience wearing thin due to Naoki's persistent pestering.

"Aw, come on, Tsuna-nee! You said when I'm four, you'll help me use my chakra! Pleeease, can we try it now?" Naoki's eyes sparkled with anticipation as he pleaded with Tsunade, hoping she would give in to his request.

"Excuse me, Tsunade-sama, but have you considered the possibility that Naoki's body may actually be capable of handling his tremendous chakra reserves? I mean, he is from the Uzumaki and Senju clans, after all." Shizune suggested, her voice tinged with concern as she knew Naoki wouldn't stop pestering them until he got what he wanted.

"Ugh, fine. We'll check his body and chakra network for any abnormalities when we reach Onshimoto village." Tsunade grumbled in resignation, clearly annoyed but willing to give in to Naoki's persistence.

"Yay, Tsuna-neechan and Shizune-neechan are the best! Thank you so much!" Naoki exclaimed with pure joy and excitement, his face lighting up with a big smile.

~2 Hours Later~

As the trio of Tsunade, Shizune, and Naoki approached the village of Onshimoto, the lush green rice fields stretching out as far as the eye could see took their breath away. The rhythmic swaying of the tall blades in the gentle breeze was like a hypnotic dance, captivating all who laid eyes on them. The village itself bustled with activity, visitors from all over the Fire Country exploring its winding streets and alleys, eager to sample its renowned sushi and sake. The onsens were a welcome respite for travelers, their steamy mist inviting all who sought a moment of relaxation. The surrounding forests were dense and vibrant, alive with the sounds of chirping birds and rustling leaves. It was a scene of natural beauty that filled Naoki's heart with wonder and excitement.

As they strolled through the bustling village, the aroma of sizzling skewers and steaming dumplings wafted through the air. The gentle glow of Chinese-style lanterns cast a warm and inviting light over the scene. They soon found themselves in front of a charming pub, its wooden doors and windows adorned with colorful lanterns, beckoning them inside.

"Tsuna-neechan, why are we at a pub? I thought you were going to help me unlock my chakra." Naoki asked innocently, tilting his head with a confused expression.

"Patience, Naoki. We'll get to it soon enough. But first, let's grab some food. You must be starving after all the energy you've spent pestering me," Tsunade remarked with a hint of irritation.

"I was not pestering you, Tsuna-neechan! I was just... uhh... persistently requesting your assistance," Naoki replied with an adorable pout, his stomach growling audibly.

"Ha! See that, brat?" Tsunade retorted, flashing a triumphant smirk, relishing the rare moment of victory against Naoki's relentless pestering.

"Humph! Fine!" Naoki responded looking the other way with his arms crossed and a pout.

"Oooh, someone's in a bad mood. Did someone miss their naptime?" Tsunade teased, poking Naoki's cheek playfully.

"Hehehe" Shizune giggled, since she liked the spectacle of both of them acting like this.

Upon entering the pub, the trio was met with a lively atmosphere. The interior was dimly lit by the warm glow of the lanterns, casting a cozy and inviting ambiance. The sound of chatter and laughter filled the air, intermixed with the clinking of glasses and sizzling of food on the grill. The waitstaff were bustling about, taking orders and serving dishes with a practiced efficiency. Despite the bustling business, the pub had a comfortable and relaxed feel to it, making it a popular spot among both locals and travelers alike. The group found an empty table and settled in, eagerly anticipating their meal.

The waitress quickly made her way over to their table as soon as they sat down, greeting them with a friendly smile. "Good afternoon! Welcome to our pub. What can I get for you?" she asked cheerfully, holding a notepad and pen in her hand.

"We'll take 3 platters of your finest sushi, some top-notch alcohol, and juice for the kid. Chop chop." Tsunade ordered.

"Alright, I'll put that order in for you. Your food will be ready in just 5 minutes," the waitress said before walking away to relay their order to the chef in the kitchen.

~1 Hour Later~

"Tch, nothing beats a good drink after a journey," Tsunade muttered as she stepped out of the pub, flanked by Shizune and Naoki. "Shizune, take Naoki with you and purchase some chakra paper and absorption paper. I'll find us a place to stay in the nearby inn. Meet me in the eastern forest outside the village," Tsunade commanded, taking charge of their next move.

"Um, Tsuna-neechan said we need to buy chakra paper and chakra absorption paper. But I don't know what that is, do you, Shizune-neechan?" Naoki asked with an innocent and curious expression on his face.

Shizune leaned forward and spoke with a calm, informative tone, "Chakra paper is a fascinating tool used by ninja to identify their chakra type. If your chakra has an affinity for fire, the paper will turn to ash. If it's wind, the paper will split in half. For lightning, the paper will wrinkle, and for earth, it will crumble away. If you have a water affinity, the paper will turn damp." She then added, "Chakra absorption paper, on the other hand, is used for absorbing chakra. Although, it doesn't have many uses to it used commonly when unlocking ones chakra to prevent any accidents.."

A/N- Chakra paper is a real thing in Naruto as I believe most of you already know. However, as for chakra absorption paper, I don't know if it exists or not, but it's a thing in this fanfic.

"So long story short, we are going to help you open your chakra pathways." Tsunade added.

"Really? Yayy!" Naoki exclaimed as he threw his arms around Tsunade in a big hug, his eyes sparkling with childlike excitement.

"Now, don't get too friendly just yet, kid. I still need to determine if you're ready, and even if you are, the process won't be a walk in the park." Tsunade's gruff voice responded as she tried to pulled away from Naoki's hug, clearly not accustomed to physical affection after so long.

"As long as I can use chakra, I don't mind." exclaimed Naoki with an innocent and excited expression, as he looked up at Tsunade's face and hugged her tightly.

"Now, now, let's not dawdle. We have a mission to accomplish," Shizune interjected briskly, her tone betraying a sense of urgency. She knew that time was of the essence, and that they needed to procure the necessary supplies for Naoki's training as soon as possible. Plus, she sensed that Tsunade was still grappling with the emotional toll of losing her loved ones, and she didn't want to exacerbate her pain by prolonging their trip any further.

"Understood," Naoki replied, quickening his pace to keep up with Shizune. They made their way towards the outskirts of the village, heading to the ninja supply shop. This shop was specifically designed for shinobi to resupply during missions, and Naoki couldn't wait to see all the tools and equipment that he could potentially use on his own missions in the future.
