"A few days ago, I saw a familiar face at the airport. Can you guess who it was?" asked the man seated across the table from him.

Tang Shi took his time drawing a card and, while keeping an eye on his own hand, asked disinterestedly, "Who?"

At that, he slowly threw out a Two Bamboo from his hand.

The man seated opposite him toyed with the dice in his hands, turning them slowly, before replying, "Gu Qingcheng. She's back…"

The man had barely completed his sentence when Su Nianhua and Lin Jinchen, who were seated beside Tang Shi, gasped in astonishment. For the past three years, the name Gu Qingcheng had been taboo, never to be mentioned in the presence of Tang Shi.

Standing by the door, Tang Shi's companion hesitated. Knowing full well that Tang Shi had asked her to get into the back seat, she decided to open the door to the front passenger seat and got in.

In the process of putting on his seat belt, Tang Shi paused before turning sideways to the woman and saying curtly, "Get out!"

Shaken, the woman realized that Tang Shi was really angry and immediately tried to pacify him by saying, "I'm sorry. I'll get out of the car now. Don't be mad..."

"I said, out!" Tang Shi repeated, causing the terrified woman to scramble out of the car as quickly as she could.

Not caring whether she'd managed to steady herself or not, Tang Shi stepped aggressively on the accelerator and took off at speed.

Su Nianhua and Lin Jinchen, who had followed them outside, had witnessed this scene as it had unfolded and couldn't help but shake their heads.
