The book is a good read, too bad the author stopped continuing this one. Overall, worldbuilding is good and characters too with good pacing, not sure of the new version.

This had been a memorable time when I first started writing this. There was a WPC I joined, and this was the story that occured. Themes of Magic, Desert and a Mission if I can recall. I've rewritten this and it has now a more slice-of-life pace, but... dangers do lurk underneath the facade.
