JiYu And The Man

"What's that, Jiyu?" Jiyu presented the picture that he found on her drawer. "Look, Mommy! Who is this?" Ah Cy kept Jingshen's picture on her drawer, unfortunately Jiyu found it. It has been awhile since she last saw his picture.

"Ah? It's nothing, little Jiyu. He's an actor!" Jiyu looked at his mother confused, "how come I have not seen him?" Ah Cy almost slapped herself, what a lame excuse! "Let's go, Little Jiyu. Mommy is already done."

"Mommy, someone is ringing the doorbell!" Jiyu shook Ah Cy. Jiyu's sleep was disturbed by the loud noises. "Mhm. Go back to sleep, Jiyu. Mommy will check it."

It's already twelve midnight. Who will come in her home to visit her at twelve midnight? Ah Cy opened the door and was shocked that she even froze. "J-jingshen? Is that really you?" A weak smile appeared o

n her face.

"Mommy, Mommy!" Ah Cy felt her tears streaming down. "Wake up, Mommy. Little Jiyu will help you wipe your tears!" Wake up... It was just a dream. Jingshen is not here.

"Jiyu?" She burried her head on her son's chest. Jiyu could only hug her and calm her Mommy down, even though he do not know what's happening. "What happened to Mommy?" Ah Cy bit her lower lip, can she really tell her son?

"Mhm... do you want Mommy to tell you a bedtime story until you fell asleep?" Jiyu didn't notice that her mother did not answer his question. "Yes, please!"

Ah Cy carried him Jiyu to his room. She sat on his bed while Jiyu laid beside her.

She opened the Bedtime Stories book of Jiyu and switched the page until she started reading the story of the gingerbread man.

"One day Mrs Brown the farmer's wife thought… 'Today I will make a gingerbread man.'

She mixed up all the ingredients then rolled a ball of gingerbread between her hands and squashed it flat. That was to be his head. Then Mrs Brown made another ball, a much bigger one this time. That was to be his body. Then she made two thin rolls for his arms and two long thin rolls for his legs. And then she made two hands and two feet."

Ah Cy combed his hair. She glanced at him before putting the book at the dresser. She covered his body with a thick comforter and gave him a peck on his forehead.

"Madame, the issue regarding qX is spreading like a fire." Jiayi informed. "Let them answer the accusations first, and then pull out all of our shares in their company, understood?" Jiayi nodded his head. "Yes, Madame. Anyway, Madame, you have an appointment later, at twelve. At eight, you have a dinner with... Li---- "

A loud footsteps disturb Jiayi from talking. Who dared to be noisy? "Mommy!" Well, little JiYu dared! "Little mons---- I mean, Little JiYu why are you here?" JiYu stucked his tounge out. "Why, you don't want me hear? Bleh!"

"JiYu? Mommy is going to attend an important meeting, will Little JiYu be okay with staying here... with Jiayi?" JiYu lowered his head. He sighed, as if he was disappointed and sad. "I will go home then." Aish! This brat! "No need. Mommy will take you with her instead." JiYu looked with her with a grin on his face. Such a spoilt brat!

"But you have to promise Mommy that you will be quiet? Anyway, Jiayi, what was it you were trying to say?" JiYu did not bother answering. "Ehem. At eight pm, you have an APPOINTMENT with the Lin Family." Ah Cy stared daggers on her. This human!

'Damn, I was just telling that she has an appointment or rather, dinner with her 'long-lost-boyfriend!'

She wanted to mock her but the two monsters already went out the office.

'They really are monsters! Especially that Little JiYu who loves to tease people! Just like how Ah Cy used to be!'

She laughed, she better focus on her job. It's not the time to act unprofessional towards Ah Cy yet.

12:00 pm. "Good afternoon. I am Chen Ah Cy of Cy Corportain." She offered her hands and he quickly shook hands with her. "I am Wei QingTian of Li Corporation, I am the Chairman's subordinate. Pleased to meet you, Madame." She nod her head.

"Ms. Chen, I am wondering if you are aware of the clothing line, YFX?" She nodded her haid again. She doesn't want to sound rude but she don't like people who beats around the bush. "Yes, Mr. Wei. I am aware of YFX's clothing line. I am also aware of the fact that YFX is a subsidiary of the Li Corporation."

QingTian opened her MacBook and faced it to her. "Investing in the stock market will never be risk free. You will no doubt have heard it before.."the value of your investment can go down as well as up". This is very true. Make no mistake, stock trading is a business and must be treated as such. Business involves risk, but if you are prudent and do your homework, you have a much better chance of coming out on top." She nodded, of course she do understand it. She's also an investor.

They continued discussing the pros and cons of investing in YFX. Although, some were commons she still listened.

"Have a great day, Ms. Chen." He fixed his things and stood up. "Pleased to meet you, Mr. Wei." They bid their good byes after he finished fixing his things.

Ah Cy's eyes wandered around the coffee shop. She saw JiYu talking to a guy in a black suit. The man is tall. Although she only saw his broad back, she can sense the man's aura. He's white as a milk.

Looks like JiYu is enjoying the man's company. She's just afraid that the man is plotting something against her and little JiYu. So she decided to call his name.

"JiYu!" JiYu ran towards him. He pulled her until they reached the dark spot of the restaurant. "What is it, Little JiYu?"
