9 Sunset

Soon enough dinner rolls in and Stephan joins us at the diner table this would of made it 16 people at the table but Evan messaged to say him and his mate we're going to skip the rest of the week to go to my lakeside cabin. So he sat in Evans usual seat next to me and across from Laura. Or where Laura is supposed to sit as usual she was sprawled across Elijah's lap while his hand was spread across her ass.

I've become used to avoiding looking their way now especially now I know how tantalising his touch really is my body still ached from our earlier touches. Though it wasn't enough I don't think it ever will be, I craved him every bit of him.

Stephan was staring however he couldn't take his eyes off them full of sadness and envy i grabbed his hand under the table to try to comfort him somewhat, after all our touch was still soothing to one another. I kept hold of his hand under the table as we made small talk and laughed together gaining a few dirty looks from Elijah and sad glances from Laura at how effortlessly me and Stephen get along already.

Laura drops her phone on the floor and Elijah bends down to pick it up for her he let's out a possessive growl seeing mine and Stephens interlaced hand which rested on my mid thigh  "keep your dam hands to yourself Stephan" Elijah growled passing Laura back her phone.

Stephan's smile grew "oh it's one rule for you another for me I see" he says eyeing up Laura sat on Elijah's lap still while he pulls our hands from under the table planting soft kisses across the back of my hand staring Elijah dead in the eye.

Elijah let out a menacing growl and it was a warning if I ever heard one. He grabbed Laura's chin and turned her to face Stephan while he slowly trailed his hand up her waist circling her breast with his gentle touch before grouping her breast roughly making her moan a little before she bit her lip to conceal it.

Laura quickly jolted up right as if only just coming back to her senses and breaking out of a trance. Both me and Stephan stood up making our chairs skid behind us I grabbed my cup of water and threw it at him soaking both him and Laura before walking out with Stephan who wrapped his arm around my shoulder as we exited  the canteen not looking back.

I can't believe I thought our earlier encounter was something special but seeing how effortlessly he touched Laura so intimately out in the open for all to see and not hidden away in a dark corridor made realise that there truly was nothing special about our interactions.

"To the cubby hole we go" I say leading him down the corridor.

"To the what" he says laughing

"Safe place where I go to feel sorry for myself.. aka the janitors closet" I say laughing though its short lived as I'm suddenly flooded with all the memories of Mr. Smith but I push them aside with a sigh.

Once we get there we both slide to the floor with loud exasperated sighs then we turned to look at each other with sympathy as we know exactly what the other is feeling, and it fucking sucked.

"How do you feel about skipping next period and letting our dogs out the bag hmm?" He asked me mischievously.

"Wow first day and he already skipping what have I got myself into" I say laughing "and its cats out bag you big Moron" say sassily.

"I know but I don't have a cat do you?" he says taunting me.

"let's go" I huff.

Thankfully our head teacher was part of our pack so we could usually get away with skipping if we say we had to switch. We tend to get away with most things in all honesty.

Me and Stephan make our way to the back of the school across the filed where the woods are.

We are halfway across the field when we hear Elijah voice call out to me "trinity, trinity wait where are you going" he starts to jog towards us.

I look back at him then and Stephan I grab his hand and shout "run" laughing together we sprint holding hands into the woods.

When we get far enough in that the sunlight is blocked with trees and we're engulfed by darkness we stop running leaning against a tree to catch our breaths.

Stephan walks behind another tree as we both undress and shift, I tie my top on and him his shorts.

We both step out from behind the trees at the same time, it's the first time we've seen each others wolves he's was a beautiful mix of all different shades or brown and bits of white he was about the same size as me.



I can't help but wounder what he thinks of my wolf, I'd always loved my wolf and thought her to be beautiful but did he?

He approached me and rubbed his cheek against mine and then we ran. We ran like there was no stopping us letting out all the tension we both had suppressed inside.

We howled and howled until our sad cry turned into happy whales enjoying the utter freedom of the woods and our company.

Before we know we'd been here for hours when we only were supposed to skip 1 period. There was 20 minutes until school finished.

We headed back for our clothes but of course we didn't mark the tree and couldn't find them anywhere.

I settled putting on the oversized top I grabbed from my locker before we came and Stephan was just in his shorts. Holy shit he was hot!!

Once we reach the school again there is still 10 minutes left until it finished so we take a quick break on the school bench to catch our breaths again.



"we should probably go before everyone comes out, your literally only in a top" he says looking me up and down then laughing while rising to his feet.

"I uh actually aren't coming straight back tonight, you go ahead I'll see you back at the house soon.. Okay?" I say praying he doesn't ask me where I am going or more specifically who with.

"alright littlepup, I'll see you back home. But get some pants on at least"  he said laughing walking to his car.

I wait until he pulls out the lot then I walk over to Eli's car but I don't want to stand out here waiting in just my top, so instead I quickly pick the lock on the passenger side and climb in.

5 minutes later everyone starts piling out into the car park Elijah comes within 2 minutes he begins climbing into his car when he see me.

He jumps and his face was definitely photo worthy "Jesus Trin what the hell, you scared the shit out of me" he says is hand over his racing heart "how did you get in here" he says as an after thought though doesn't seem pissed off like I though he would.

"I picked the lock, was chilly outside" I lie even though the October weather was slightly cold my body was not only warm because of my wolf but also because my run in the woods.

"are you naked again" he asks hitting his head off the steering wheel.

"of course not!! You can clearly see I'm wearing a top" I say smiling.

"Urhhgg" he groans "come on  I want to show you something.

We drove for about 15 minutes as I sang and danced along to the radio and Elijah just smiled at me content.

I swear it doesn't matter what this man does I always seem to forget I'm supposed to be angry when he shows me the slightest bit of attention.

We pull up in the middle of nowhere on a mid trail, the only thing near here is the huge forest to the left I assume that's where we will be going.

"are you sure you're not here to kill me" I ask looking out at the forest.

"only one way to find out Tinkerbelle" he said climbing out of the car. I take a deep breath to compose myself then see my door open. Ever the gentleman he takes my hand helping me out the car which wasn't easy to do without flashing.

"he doesn't let go of my hand once I'm out instead he starts to lead me to the forest holding my hand in his.

We'd been walking for about 20 minutes and my already tired legs where starting to protest as I fell behind.

I looked down at my legs giving them death glares for bailing on me now of all times, when I walked right into something hard.

Taking a step back I realise I'd face planted Elijah's back, he turned to face me quickly and swept me up off my feet in a bridal style carry.

My hand quickly went to pull the hem of my top to keep myself covered as I blushed. Elijah looked down at me and smiled.

My body felt so alive in his embrace I wish it would never end.

"how much longer" I ask him staring into his eyes.

He looks down to meet my eyes and shakes his head with a little laugh "5 minutes then we'll shift and run the rest of the way up is that okay with you my little miss inpatient Tinkerbelle" he said joking. .

I mock slap his chest in return "why don't we just shift now then?" I ask confused.

he looks over me again and then looks away "because I'm not ready to put you down yet" he says barely Audible.

I don't reply just smile and tuck my head to his chest where I can feel his muscular pecks under his shirt, his nipple piercings digging into me and I could hear the frantic beats of his heart I placed a soft kiss over his heart then placed my hand there.

We walked for another 5 minutes or so or more accurately he walked us both. Then he placed me down.

He took his top off throwing it to the floor, I couldn't take my eyes off him and his tattooed body he was a piece of art that's for sure I didn't care that he could blatantly see I was checking him out I think this is the least I deserve.



Then he reached down and started to undo his pants it took me a minute to realise what was happening and I quickly turned around though I definitely didn't want too.

I started to walk towards a tree to get changed behind of, when he called me "wait Trin, take this one" he said walking up behind me putting his arm out with his t shirt in.

I didn't dare turn around to look at him as I knew he was naked and the only thing I had on was a t shirt and suddenly the knowledge of us both so close together with bare bodies made my skin tingle everywhere.

I took his shirt from his hand, and turned my head to look into his eyes making sure not to let my gaze go any lower.

He smirked at me as I raised my eyebrow at him wondering why he wanted me to take his shirt instead of my own.

"that way any other wolf wanting a bite of you will know you're mine" he said so smoothly.

God the word bite coming out of his mouth made my mouth water and my core ache. Thinking about if he was to bite and Mark me.

I shook the thought away grabbing the shirt and tying it my leg then going to a tree to shift after removing the shirt I was wearing.

Once I had shifted I became anxious to walk out and let him see my wolf, though Tink was trying to run and jump him I was suddenly self conscious. I wanted him to like what he sees but what if he didn't.

He'd already shifted and must be waiting for me at this point, I held my head high as I took a step out from behind the tree.

Wow I'd never seen such a beautiful wolf and unlike most he towered over me he had jet black fur coving him except for a small tuff of white on his chest  in the shape of a heart. How ironic.



We spent some time just walking circles around one another just appreciating each other. He stepped toward me nuzzling his face against mine and into my neck unlike earlier when Stephan greeted my wolf similarly this was not a friendly gesture it was much more.

Eventually we starting running I followed him up the hill as I had no idea where we were going. Not too long later we reached and opening as we stepped out of the forest I could see a cliff that was over looking a beautiful large lake very far below.

It was breath taking really it was so peaceful and perfect here.

He walked to the edge of the cliff as I followed behind he shifted back giving me an almighty view of his peachy bum before he untied and pulled his shorts on.

With his back still turned to me I shift back too out in the open with my mate he didn't attempt to get a sneak peek much to my disappointment.

I untied and threw on Elijah's shirt loving that his smell now enveloped me.

I walked up behind him tracing my finger gently over the outline of she sharp teeth of the skull he had tattooed right over his back.



Without thinking I leant in and placed a kiss in the centre of his back between his shoulder blades, his body tensed up when I did it but he didn't shove me away thankfully.

"I come here a lot to clear my head, I guess you could say its my happy place" he says with a small laugh to himself.

"watching the sunset here makes me forget whatever I have going on" he says with a small smile while pulling me in front of him so my back rested against his chest he brought his arms around under my arms and fastened them around my waist as he rested his chin on top of my head.

I smile unable to stop myself, he was right being here did make you forget all your problems because right here it was just him and me.

"this spot is just for us Tinkerbelle, I've never brought anyone here and I don't want you too either.. Promise?" he asked sounding like a small child.

"Our sanctuary.. I like the sound of that" I say with a warm smile "I promise Eli"

"look" he says moving my face with his hand under my chin to the sun which was now setting amd reflecting off the water. It was magical.

We sat and watched in a comfortable silence until the sun is fully set and even then we don't move.

When we finally do move the sky around us is dark.

Elijah spins me to face him then pick me up bridal style once again this time however his hand ended up under my shirt so his hand was on my bare back skin to skin making my body shake with tingles.

He carried me the whole way, we picked up the clothes we left behind but didn't bother putting them on. When we reached his car he carried me in to my seat stroking my cheek before going to the other side to get in his seat.

The drive back was much like the drive here as I sang and danced along  to the radio and he just smiled and laughed at me in the process.

Once we reached Stephens he pulled up on the drive but didn't say goodbye we both just sat there sat there staring at the house in silence.

When I figured he wasn't going to say anything I reached up and opened my door only for Elijah to grab and pull my other arm causing the door to slam back shut.

He moved his hand from my arm to my face as he stared down at me. His eyes went from my eyes to my lips where they lingered as if having an internal battle with himself.

He bit his lip and I bit mine in response causing him to growl he pressed his forehead in to mine and let out an Audible sigh.

he cupped my face in his large tattoo covered hands and placed a firm long kiss on my forehead as if not wanting to pull away but unfortunately he did "answer my call, okay.. Please" he said in a deep lust filled husky voice.

I looked up at him and ran my thumb across his lips causing him to close his eyes, his head slightly leaned back and mouth ajar "I wouldn't miss it for the world Elijah" I said placing a gentle and sweet kiss on his chin as a small strangled sound escaped him.

I took a deep breath and exited the car, he didn't speed off and when I was inside the door I turned to face him he stared at me with such intensity through the windshield.

I smiled and blew him a kiss as he smiled and waved at me sheepishly before reversing out of the drive and disappearing into the night.

I closed the door and headed up to my room and crawled in to the bed which  felt impossibly cold without his warmth, still in his shirt which is now my new favourite I cuddled into a ball on the bed staring at the phone waiting for it to ring.
