Evan stands in the doorway for a second before deciding to come inside, he walks in leaving the door open a bit and sits next to me on the sofa in the room.

"talk or mute" he asks me in a gentle voice.

Talk or mute is a game me him and Danielle have where if something is wrong we ask if they want to talk and tell us what's going on or mute and keep it to themselves.

"talk.." I say letting a big breath out "I don't get it I don't need to be here me and Elijah may technically be mates but we could be any further from actually being mates, you know?"

"I know he's definitely not who you're supposed to be with and he's definitely not who I thought your mate would be" Evan sighs

"who did you think it would be?" I asked curiously

"honestly we've been friends like our whole lives before Danielle came you were my only friend nobody knows me better than you, I just don't get how the moon goddess can make Elijah your mate somebody who doesn't care about you when it should be me" Evan says his word coming out fast.

"Evan I don-"I started but couldn't finish as Evan leant it to kiss me. I turned my head causing his lips to hit my cheek instead of my lips.

" Evan me and you it's not like that, we'll always have each other but not like that" I say shocked that I didn't realise Evan felt this way about me.

Before he can reply the creak of the door opening more makes us both turn our head towards it.

Stood there is Elijah he'd probably just heard all of that which made me feel even worse for Evan.

"I'm gonna go for a run" I say standing and walking straight past Elijah through the door.

"your not in any state to go running by yourself" Elijah calls to me turning so he's facing me.

"I'll take Danielle then" I say not stopping my walk towards the living room where Danielle is.

When I get there she's talking and laughing with Ryan I feel bad interrupting them but I can't stay here another second.

"dandelion fancy a run.. Please" I ask in a pleading tone I don't recognise.

"of course, give me two seconds Trin" Danielle says instantly before saying goodbye to everyone giving Ryan a hug and quick kiss on cheek which makes me smile.

We head out the front door together, Elijah lives in a posh part of town where the woods isn't too far away which we walk towards.

Once we reach the woods we walk down the trail a bit until the darkness surrounds us the we go behind a tree together stepping out of our clothes we tie our tops around our legs to wear once we shift back.

Be both shift letting our wolves out Danielle's wolf is a beautiful ashy colour she's a fair bit smaller then me but most are, my wolf seems to be larger then the average.



My wolf however was almost completely snow white except for the small black diamond on my head which my mum used to say made me look magical now I don't even remember the last time she saw it.



Once we're both shifted we set off running feeling free leaving our clothes behind us, we run together as fast as we can me taking the lead.

We run through trees letting branches smack at our fur, jumping over fallen trees on the floor and feeling our paws bounce back when landing gracefully not slowing for a second.

We run until we reach a river edge we're we sit together panting out of breath and let our wolves howl to the open trees.

My wolf Tinks howl is full of sadness sad that 2 people who were not my mate tried to touch me today and because the said mate wanted nothing from me.

Danielle's wolf Danni on the other hand her howl was full of love, happiness and hope probably at the recent activities with Ryan hoping they're each others mates.

After staying by the lake and having a dip in the cool water we decide its time to head back it is a school night still.

We emerge from the water walking back to the stony earth shaking our wet dripping furs to try off as much as we can though the run back to the house will allow us to dry more.

On the run back we shift behind a different tree pulling on out t shirts to cover our nakedness as we were getting to close to the end of the woods to stay in our wolf forms.

We couldn't find the tree we left our clothes behind and eventually gave up looking with our bare feet hurting from the rough floor. This is the issue when shifting in new wood we should have know to mark the tree we used.

Eventually we are walking up Elijah's large driveway and I'm taking in his immaculate house, it truly is beautiful.

Both mine and Danielle's hair are still wet with water droplets on our bodies dripping down our arms and legs onto our sore cut feet.

It's fairly obvious to see we aren't wearing a bra under our tops as both of us seem to have very visible nipples perking in the cold wind.

When I reach the door I knock twice before letting myself in, I live here now after all.

The house is much quieter now then when we left. We walk in closing the door behind us. Elijah and Laura come to the foyer to see us.

"took you time didn't you! Where an earth are your bloody clothes Trinity" he says addressing me and not Danielle as if he has no interest to shout at her only me.

"it's been awhile we got carried away that's all" I say putting on a smile to try lessen the tension.

"and your clothes?! Your basically naked for Christ sake" he shouts. Laura stands in front of him wrapping her hands around his neck telling him to stop shouting and calm down.

Whatever she does it seems to do the trick because when his eyes meet hers the harsh expression drops and small smile take it's place.

Tinks is growling and clawing at my mind trying to get out and rip her off him but I fight her back.

"couldn't find them, got lost that's all" I say barely above a whisper.

"well go get something on you can't walk around like..that" he says gesturing up and down my body with his hand looking disgusted. God could he be anymore of a jerk.

"Danielle I'm heading back now ill give you a ride?" Laura asks while smiling.

"you sure you don't mind me getting in your car like this" she says gesturing to her wet dirty and exposed body.

"don't worry my car has seen plenty of bare bottoms in its time" she says with an innocent giggle

Elijah elbows her smirking clearly holding back a laugh

Laura looks up at him confused the her face drops and she shakes her head "god no I didn't mean I didn't mean that, I mea-" she was cut of by Elijah kissing her neck laughing.

I sore this as my queue to leave I turn around and begin walking "see you all tomorrow" I say to them all not looking back.

Once in my room I throw the top off and onto my bed I walk to the bathroom trying to figure out the shower but am completely clueless.



After 5 minutes I give up and grab my silk robe from the closet tying it around my waist to hide my nakedness.

I go out the room to seek Elijah for help he's at the front door waving off Laura and Danielle who are just pulling out the drive.

He closes the door than faces me as if he knew I was there all along though I hadn't made a sound. "what.. I Jesus I told you to put clothes on" he says annoyed all over again.

"erm shower" I spit out

"what" Elijah asked confused

"I erm need your help starting the shower.. Please" I ask nervously.

"god can you do anything, if this is some weird attempt at seducing me then its not working" he says coldly.

"seduce you, I'm not that desperate" I spit back emphasising the word you.

"oh yeah you just seduce my mates, your best friend.. and your teachers" he says not missing a beat then tries to take back his cruel words but doesn't have chance.

Before I can even think about it I strike him across the face with a hard smack. His head turns with the impact and he brings his hand up to rub his now red cheek.

My hand is throbbing but I ignore the pain.

"ow, you hit me?" he says genuinely shocked as if nobody has ever dared hit him before.

"and I'd happily do it again you piece of shit! Mr Smith tried to bloody Rape me how dare you say I seduced him" I say as tears build in my eyes but I don't let them out I turn around and storm towards my room.

"oh shit Trin I'm sorry I didn't thin-" the rest of his apology is cut off by me slamming the door on him.

Forgetting the shower I run myself a bath and jump into its scorching contents hoping to burn all the skin away that has been touched today. The bath is large and round so I can submerge my whole body with ease. And the candles I've lit around the luxury bathroom relax my tense body.



I wash my body and scrub until my skin feels on fire and wash my hair twice and then I just sit in the water looking out the large window that over looks the forest (I know it doesn't in the photo) thinking about how peaceful it must be there at this time with it being nearly 1am.

I climb out and throw a towel around my waste and throw on a large shirt that I stole from Evan about two years ago I wear it to bed all the time and he gave up on trying to get it back.

By the time I've gotten in the shirt and brushed then towel dried my hair its nearly two. God school's gonna be fun tomorrow.

I walk to the kitchen to get a quick glass of water before bed when I run into Elijah who's already sat down on top of the island in there with his own glass of water.

I ignore him and walk to the kitchen soon realising I don't even know where the glasses are "glasses? " I say in a cold tone.

He doesn't pretend to not understand me and points to the top cupboard above the sink with a sigh.

" well maybe if didn't kidnap me I'd know where things are" I spit narrowing my eyes at him

I get the tap running ready when Elijah starts speaking "for someone who has so many clothes you really seem to hate wearing them" he says jokingly. "is that.. is that top Evans it's stinks of him" he says all jokiness leaving his voice.

I ignore him rolling my eyes and reach up to grab a glass from the top when I do I hear a cough and feel the cold spray of water hit the back of my legs and bum as Elijah spits his drink out choking on it.

As I turn my head to look at what on earth is wrong with him I see his eyes bulging out his head as he try's to calm his coughing while wiping water off his chin.

My shirt. Shit. I instantly drop my hands realising what it is he sees. my top rode up as I stretched for the glass and considering its the only thing I had on he had quite the eyeful.

The top had rose to just above where the crease of my bum meets my legs showing the curve of my ass. Whoops.

"are you not even wearing underwear" I asked with a hoarse voice from coughing.

I turn the tap off suddenly not thirsty at all, "I think you just saw very clearly that I'm not" I say smugly.

"Jesus Trin" he says out of breath.

"well you know if you don't like it you could always let me go back home dear" I say while walking back to my room calling him dear mockingly.

"good night Tinkerbelle" is all I hear as I close my door behind me.

I crawl in my soft bed and fall into a deep sleep.
