99 Chapter Ninety Nine: Mikado Finds Tearju Lunatique

Mikado-Sensei walked through the village with her hands in the pockets of her lab coat.

As she walked through the village, she passed different types aliens, rusty shipping containers, and metal homes that were sprinkled with rust.

She had not seen a single earthling.

Perhaps it was because she was not on earth.

Yes…Mikado-Sensei was not on earth.

She was on a planet that no one bothered to name.

The unamed planet could be found on the edge of the Milky Way galaxy.

The sky of the unamed planet was kale-green and ground was just dirt.

If Mikado looked up and around in the sky, she would be able to see multiple…different colored planets in the distance.

'…This should be the place.' Mikado thought after stopping in front of a small, metal house that sat a bit away from the other houses.

She looked at the house for a few breathes before walking up to the metal front door and knocking on it.

Almost immediately after Mikado knocked on the door, the voice of a women came from the other side of the door.

"Im coming!"

After hearing that voice, Mikado lightly smiled.

Moments later…the door was unlocked and opened.

"…Eh? M…Mikado…is that you?" The women who opened the door asked upon seeing Mikado at her front door.

The women was wearing a white lab coat over a black sweater and a pair of blue jeans.

"Long time no see, Tear." Mikado said, greeting the friend she hadn't see in quite some time.

"It's nice to see you, Mikado. It really has been a long time since we met. Come in, come in."

Tearju Lunatique, the busty, green-eyed women with glasses and hair as golden as Yami's, moved out of the way of entrance.

Mikado walked inside and glanced around.

When she did, she saw a bed in the corner of the small home. Two green couches in the center of the home. And a tiny kitchen in another corner of the home.

"Please take a seat. I'll go make some tea for us." Tearju Lunatique said after closing and locking the front door.

Part 2:

Tearju put two cups of hot tea on the table that sat between the two couches before sitting on the couch parallel to Mikado.

"So, what have you been up to, Mikado. Since we haven't seen each other in so long, we have a lot to catch up on."

"I'm sorry if I'm saying this a bit late, but I'm not here just to see a old friend."

"Eh?" Tear, who was about to reach for her tea, stopped in her in tracks.

"Tear, I'm here because of a certain person and Eve."

Hearing that, Tearju's eyes widened for a bit before reverting back to normal.

"Do you know what Eve does now?" Mikado asked before picking up her cup of tea, taking a two second sip, and putting it back down.

"…I hear she works as a assassin now…Golden Darkness is what they call her."

"…"

"This is all my fault. She became a assassin because I abandoned her at that awful place."

Tearju dropped her head and held her face with her palms.

Suddenly, just as Tearju was about to cry, a gentle hand touched her head.

"It isn't your fault, Tear. Knowing you, I assume something or someone forced you to leave." Mikado said with a warm smile.

"They said that if I didn't leave…they would hurt Eve." Tear admitted

"…I found out that the organization that picked you up is long gone through the same source I found out your exact location with. They won't be doing what they did to you and Eve ever again."

After saying that, Mikado removed her hand from Tear's head and sat back down.

Tear slowly raised her head before speaking.

"That's good…really good."

"It is. However, I have something better to show you."

Mikado reached into her lab coat and pulled out a tablet. She tapped the screen a few times before giving it to Tear, who accepted it.

Upon accepting the tablet, Tearju saw Eve on the screen.

She didn't see Eve killing or harming anyone like a assassin… She saw a mini slideshow of Eve smiling beside a hazel-eyed boy, eating plums, sitting beside a large group of girls and a brown-haired boy, and even blushing.

Despite holding back her tears earlier, tears almost instantly fell from her eyes, striking the tablet.

Mikado, who saw this, got off the couch she was on and sat beside Tear before hugging her.

Mikado's hand slowly rubbed Tear's head until Tear finally calmed down.

"I'm happy…so happy that she made a lot of friends." Tear said as she wiped away her own tears.

"…And now that you have seen that, Tear. Let me tell you the point of my visit."

"…"

"Tear, do you want to make up with Eve?"

"Of course." Tear said without a moment of hesitation.

"I see…then how about becoming a teacher at Sainan High? Even though Yami isn't actually a student there, she is often there because of her friends…and the boy she likes."

"B-B-B-Bo-Boy she likes!!?"

Tearju's face turned red for some reason.

"Fufufu! I said that knowing how you would react."

Mikado covered her smile with her hand.

"W-Wait…that boy with the brown hair…is it him?"

"Mmm. He was also was one who asked me to find you. It took me a while, but I found your location with the help of a old photo."

"I see…I will have to thank him."

"Mmm. Also, Eve isn't the only who likes him. I like him as well."

"E-Ev-Even you, Mikado?!!?"

"Yes. His name is Rian Yuki."

"Rian…Yuki? I think I have heard that name somewhere before."

Tearju felt like she heard that name before

"Hmm…I wouldn't be surprised if you have. Rian has the highest bounty in the universe. You could probably buy dozens of planets in the universe, and still have enough to play around with if you claimed his bounty. Also, i'm pretty sure his bounty increases everyday."

Althrough Tear didn't say anything…her wide, green eyes said "Wow."

"So, back to my earlier question…how about becoming a teacher?"

"…Do I need to do anything or have special to become one?"

"Nope. The perverted principal is willing to accept any beautiful women into his school…even if they were a wanted criminal."

"I-I see."

Tearju made a mental note to avoid the principal.

"You also don't have to worry about a place to stay since you can live with me and my new housemate."

"Housemate?"

"Oshizu is her name. She lives in my home when she decides to leave the inn."

"…I agree. I'll become a teacher."

Tearju wanted to see Eve.

"Good. Now…that the important stuff is out the way, let's catch up." Mikado said with a smile.
