Honest Tears of The Young Ones

"We were five back then... it was a perfect spring day of March when I last laughed along with her"

Little Si Hoo Yoon and his best friend infact his only friend Ji Na Choi always played together under the shade of their favourite cherry blossom tree... they even gave it a name.. Ji Hoo it was, 'Ji' from Ji Na's name and 'Hoo' from Si Hoo's name.

They were unseparable, until one day, Si Hoo suddenly moved out of the country. She never knew where he went and why..

(before Si Hoo left)

Si Hoo's parents loved him a lot, even more than they loved each other..but little did his mother knew that her husband was cheating on her with another woman who was literally eleven years younger than him (she was most likely to be after his money $¥). After she found out about his affair, she was mad enough to pull out all of his hair from his head (don't worry she didn't)...

They had a fight almost everyday. They would shout, curse and even throw stuff at one another (except knives and other lethal weapons and stuff..lol). Little Si Hoo was terrified of the thought that he might end up losing one of them or both...Each day the fights between his parents kept on increasing and got more serious than the ones they had had the other day... Poor Si Hoo eventually stopped coming out of his room. Little Ji Na would always wait for him under Ji Hoo the tree at the same time everyday but Si Hoo would never show up.

Si Hoo's prediction and fear came true....

His parents got divorced in April 7th..

Now, he lived only with his mother in their house as his father had bought another house to live with his new girl (he indeed had a lot of money). Si Hoo would refuse to go to school and to even come out of his room but Ji Na was there for the rescue.. She knew something was wrong with Si Hoo and his family so she asked her parents about it... She couldn't stop crying when she found out. "Poor Si Hoo" she said, with eyes filled with tears as sparkly as glitters. She would frequently visit Si Hoo and talk to him in his room and he would let her..

Two months had passed by since Si Hoo's parents got divorced.. Ms. Kang Yoo Ra (his mother) pitied Si Hoo that his father was a jerk who left him... She eventually stopped thinking about her jerk ex husband and soon fell in love with a co-worker in the company where she worked, Mr. Daniel Morris, a tall, blonde Canadian man with a handsome face, very handsome infact.

She got married to Mr. Morris after dating him for about a month or so and quit her job, all for her Si Hoo's sake.. He didn't mind his mother's marriage with Mr. Morris because he had already accepted him as his NEW FATHER... Also because he thought of his birth father as a runaway jerk who left them for good..He loved Mr. Morris.

After three months, in October, Mr. Morris got promoted and due to that he had to move back to Canada to handle the Canadian branch of their company. Mrs. Yoo Ra decided to go with him and so did Si Hoo (they are a family now so it was obvious)..

In 20th of October, they left. The only regret Si Hoo had while leaving was that he never said good bye to his only friend and his saviour from the dark times, Ji Na. "It would only hurt more if I see her before leaving" he said to his mother that morning.

He cried when his plane took off and so did Ji Na sitting on the window pane in her room gazing at the endless blue sky.. She heard a little snapping sound in her head, she ignored it.. She never asked anyone about where or why Si Hoo went...

They were so young and naïve to understand the world, yet their tears were much honest than the ones that adults shed...

I think that children have the most honest souls, minds and hearts.. what do you guys think?
