On Saturday, while Haewon was out on a date with Jake and Selena was on her chef show, Alex asked Ivy to come over so she could help in any way she could since they had quite a lot to prepare for Liam's birthday.

Even though Selena had said Gabe was arriving that day, Ivy tried as much as she could not to think about how it would feel like to see him again after three years.

As mad as she had been at him, she had consoled herself with the fact that he was still not in a relationship. It was not that he had not wanted her because he didn't like her but because he wasn't ready for a relationship like he had told her.

She wondered if things would still be awkward between them now. Neither of them had contacted each other in the last three years, even though she had been very tempted to reach out to him a couple of times, especially after she watched him get injured during his game a couple of months back.
