A Lot Happier Now

After his discussion with Selena, Gabe headed out to go make sure Alex had succeeded in sending Oliver away, and his heart skipped a beat when he saw Ivy walking towards his direction.

What did she want to say to him? He mused as he watched her walk past him to the house, and without thinking, he called out to her.

"Hey, Ivy!" Gabe called, and Ivy's heart skipped a beat.

They had greeted each other when she first arrived with her parents, and after that, she had avoided running into him as best as she could and seeing how easy it had been, something told her he had been avoiding her too, and that was the reason she had pretended like she had not seen him a moment ago.

Why was he calling her? Did he perhaps want something? Even though she had promised Selena to let everything go and be the friend that he needed, she was still not over everything yet and was taking her time to clear her head so she could talk to him without feeling too resentful.
