Progression 4

One week. That was apparently how long it was going to take Bulma and her father to finish up fixing my new spaceship. While it was a bit vexing I couldn't just jump in and head to Namek already, it wasn't that big of a deal really.

Especially since it left enough time for me to finish up with a few things I haven't yet taken care of. Admittedly, they weren't quite up there with what I wanted to achieve by reaching the home planet of the Namekians, but they were worth going for and things I would be hoping to accomplish regardless even when I was done on Planet Namek.

Mastering my Oozaru form since until I managed to reach Super Saiyan, that ten times transformation boost would be vital. And secondly, taking a shot of the Ultra Divine Water.

It might be a bit silly of me to attempt it, since there was a risk of death. But quite frankly, surviving it has nothing to do with being kind or pure of heart or any of that wishy washy nonsense. It was willpower and endurance that was required, and since the original managed to survive, I'm very sure I will to.

Either way, both of my goals in this week will be accomplished in roughly the same area. First, I need to head to Korin's Tower to get the Ultra Divine Water, and once I'm done there, straight up to Kami's Lookout to use the Room Of Spirit And Time, otherwise known as the Hyperbolic time Chamber. In there, I can safely train my Oozaru form for as long as two years if needed, not that I think it'll take that long mind you.

The trip from Bulma's to Korin's didn't take very long at all. Even thousands of miles away, at a leisurely pace I made it there in a half hour.

"Yo," Korin greeted me over the railing from his tower as soon as I got close, raising a stubby paw into the air and waving it at me, "Back already kid?" he asked.

"Yeah," I replied with a nod, touching down beside him and letting my aura ki aura disperse from around me, "There's some stuff I want to get done and I can only do it up here."

"Is that so?" Korin hummed, "And what's that exactly? I've been keeping a close eye on you since you left here boy, and your power has risen scarily fast, quite frankly you are by far the strongest fighter on this planet currently. And I get the feeling you aren't anywhere near done yet."

As expected of Korin. "I want the Ultra Divine Water." I said, getting right to the point as I stared down into his slitted eyes.

Korin raised a brow, "Oh?" he made a sound of interest, "Going for all the stops are you? Bit of a gamble though innit kid? Goku might've managed to survive, but no guarantee's you will." he pointed out.

"And?" I raised an eyebrow at him, "I'm Kami's big game changer of a plan to protect the planet. Even if I die, he'll just arrange it for me to go train with in the afterlife like the original."

Having my plans put on the backburner for a bit might just be worth getting my hands on the Kaioken technique, and King Kai apparently knows the Instant Transmission as well. I could get him to show me Planet Namek then just teleport there the second I'm wished back to life.

Since I already have a power level over four thousand, I'd probably beat the original to King Kai, since it canonically took him six months to get there. Meaning, I would easily exceed his canon power level of eight thousand during the Saiyan Saga, so no matter what way my plans go, I'll easily mop up Vegeta and Nappa.

That was only a hypothetical scenario anyway. Because there's no way I'm gonna kick the bucket.

Korin wrinkled his nose, "Well I suppose so, you definitely haven't contributed enough to get keep your body any other way as you are now," he responded, before sighing, "Alright, no point in making you try to catch me like Goku I guess, since you already know how to do it and are way stronger than he was back then."

He made his way into the tower and I followed behind him. He led me over to a large white jar with Kami's symbol painted on it in bright red and popped the massive cork plugging it open. He reached in, and a moment later pulled out a large ladle filled with a familiar darkish liquid.

"Last chance to back out kid, you still have a over eight months until those other saiyan's get here, plenty of time to train and get stronger." Korin warned me.

"I'm not gonna die, so don't worry so much Korin, I've got too much to accomplish so I can settle down and live a sweet ass life of comfort." I snorted, taking the ladle from him, and bringing it up to my lips.

I took an experimental sniff of it and nearly recoiled. It had a heavy, pungent smell. It wasn't a bad smell, it smelled almost like whiskey, but it definitely wasn't a smell normal water gave off.

"Bottoms of up kid." Korin huffed.

"Well don't mind if I do then." I smirked at him and then raised it to my lips, and like any glass of whiskey, I downed it in one shot.

As soon as I swallowed the massive mouthful of pungent dark water, my vision went dark and pain assaulted me.

Pain, so much pain. It felt like my nerves were alight with flame. It felt like my head was going to explode from the massive pressure banging against my skull. I felt myself falling, and I could hear my own voice screaming bloody murder, yet it sounded so far away, like it was blocked by the massive wall of pain raping my body into submission.

I screamed, and I screamed.
