I'm Not Alone Anymore!

Xue Li's vision darkened as he fainted. Presumably when his consciousness was transferred back into the world, his soul only went back and didn't followed the natural order of how the living and the dead naturally went. It seemed that God of Sloth intended to reincarnate Xue Li at the first place. As if he was ordered by Buddha himself and planned it to be this way.

Although Xue Li didn't liked to be reincarnated, he was 'confident' that he will see it through even at the very end. Whoever he might become, or what kind of place it might be. He assured to himself that he will not be the issue once he reincarnates. Xue Li was a military fanatic in both combat and tactics for as long as he remembers. Adding to the fact that he received quality military lessons from his late father in his previous life. So wherever he migh be, he would always feel safe.

That's how confident Xue Li was with his skills. As a matter of fact when God of Sloth banished Xue Li from his domain, Xue Li gave an unnoticeable smile! 'There must br something going on with that smile of him' God of Sloth thought at that time. It was as if he was half pleased by the fact that he can restart his life once again!

Xue Li started to regain his consciousness and started to feel a little bit nauseous. He noticed that something was different from his surroundings. Before he could turn and look around, an aromatic scent passed by his nose and captured his attention.

"Hmm? something smells really nice..." Xue Li noticed someone was cooking. The aroma wafted out with tenderness of juicy meat and scented mushroom "Wait I know this smell... Someone must be cooking mushroom pork soup " Xue Li was caught by the allusive smell of the dish that it made him slightly open his eyes and swept his gaze at where the smell was coming from.

While turning his gaze from the direction of the smell, He noticed that the windows were all broken down and the wooden walls were all worn out. Space of the room was too small and it felt like this couldn'y be called a house at all. There was anything less than but the carpet bed and there were no chairs. Looking above further, in front of the room he was stayimg, there was no door to cover the room and Xue Li could even see all the way to the kitchen.

"C...could this be, a shack? A really really broken down one" Xue Li scratched his eyes and tried to look again.

Later he realized that the he really had awaken on a broken-down shack. "Aiya!" Xue Li jumped out of the bed in surprise " 'What kind of concept is this?! This is not fair! Being reincarnated here is just plain bullying!' He can't help but feel cursing in his heart. He thought that God of Sloth must've hated his arrogance very much.

'This is not something to be happy about! I may have reincarnated but to be reincarnated as poor as someone that needed to live in such a worn-out shack. This was way beyond any punishment!' Xue Li dejected inwardly.

Later he realized that he was not alone on the bed. He had company! He looked at the young figures covered with a worn-out sheet. There was three of them and it seems that they are still sleeping soundly.

'Hai? who are these guys?' Xue Li poked the figures and suddenly... the figure then suddenly crawled out his head on the bed sheet. He turned to take a peek at who was poking him and said "Fuwaa. Older brother I'm still sleepy... just want to sleep more" then he went back to sleep .

"Huwhat?!" Xue Li exclaimed in shock 'And now I have siblings? Just great!' Xue Li can't help but feel the complaints in his heart. In his last life he was an only child of a wealthy family. He always get what he wants and he did everything that only pleased him, to the point that he doesn't need to take the word 'Responsibility' seriously. But now he has three siblings to take care of .

Then the other one reacted, ''Older brother Long, stop teasing Jiyu...'' said the little girl besides the one he poked at. The girl have been awake for a while now but still chose to sleep a bit more. Until she noticed that her twin brother was being poked by Xue Li.

''I like soup! please just a bit more...'' The last one had just spoken and he is currently dreaming about food. It seems that this young lad had a whiff of the food being cooked and had mentioned it in his sleep.

"Pffft. Hahahaha" Xue Li couldn't help but laugh heartily and forget the tension that had been building up inside of him. 'Although I never had any siblings in my past life, this is the first time for me to enjoy some company' Xue Li seemed to have a change of heart while watching his siblings in this new life. He was always the lone wolf in the pact, devoid of any social contacts with anyone. Now that he was not alone anymore, although he was poor and have to live this way in the future. But seeing his young siblings act so cute, he can't help but have his heart melt and just move on.

'Appreciating this new life with my new family might not be so bad. Having a little bit of company would come in handy once I initiate my plan to cultivate even further now that I had the time. I might as well be able to get my new family out of this situation! ' His eyes filled with determination while he was staring at his siblings sleeping on a worn out sheet and a laid-out old carpet bed.
