The Sorcerer Lost His Sense of Direction

"It is the bride's final agreement to marry the emperor," Yu Zhong said, as if it was the most obvious thing all should know.

But shapeshifters didn't need any contract. Once they mated, they mated for life. What did one do with a piece of paper?

And who in their right mind wanted to marry XueYa, anyway? The only thing he had was his deadly handsome face and his skill at spouting sweet nothings!

LiangLin wriggled around, but XueYa's hold didn't falter. Instead, it tightened until LiangLin nearly moulded into one with him. LiangLin's hands moved to cling onto the front of XueYa's robes as Xie JingYi moved over to take the tray away.

Damn-! LiangLin pouted, refusing to look at XueYa. He didn't want to sign a contract! If he looked at that dazzling smile too long, he might just change his mind. Over his dead body!

"It's between you and Zhang YaYun, LiangLin," Yu Zhong said, stressing on the name Zhang YaYun.

"Oh," LiangLin's lips parted as he understood what the ox was saying.

Since the marriage contract would be between him and Zhang YaYun, once YaYun had woken up, they could easily nullify the marriage. It wouldn't be a binding agreement since YaYun only had eyes for Lan QingYu.

XueYa had no way to have his real name on the contract without revealing his true identity to his officials. The paper was just a formal hoax to fool the officials.

LiangLin turned to his sisters, and seeing their uncertainty, he hesitated. Yu Zhong brought the tray with the ink, brush and paper over, and reading over the contract, it truly was a contract between Zhang YaYun and She LiangLin, written in black ink. At the bottom, XueYa had already signed YaYun's name.

It would be fine, LiangLin thought as he reached for the ink brush and scrawled down his name. It was just a piece of paper. In the worst-case scenario, YaYun wouldn't nullify the marriage, in which case LiangLin would crush both brothers' balls and rip this paper apart!

XueYa's hold eased so LiangLin could reach over, but not enough for his bride to get down. He wasn't kidding when he said he wouldn't let LiangLin slip away from his arms. This ass was his, and he wouldn't let LiangLin get tired before reaching the main event of the day.

"Your highness," Official Xie said, chuckling to himself. "The contract is ready. You can let the bride down now."

"It's finished?" XueYa asked as Yu Zhong took the tray away. "Are we officially married?"

"Yes, your highness, now we-"

"Wait-!"

"Your highness-!"

"YaYun! This emperor-!"

"Lin'er!"

XueYa wasn't listening as he ran off with LiangLin still tightly clasped in his arms. The white snake only gaped in surprise at the sudden situation, clinging to XueYa for dear life.

To hell with the party and all the unnecessary formalities! The wedding tradition was over. None of their parents were here for the tea ceremony, anyway. Once morning came, XueYa would take LiangLin to visit his mother's grave. But for now, he wanted to get straight to the main course!

"Let me down! Where do you think you are taking me?!" LiangLin screeched, startling the servants bustling around the palace.

They shot the pair curious stares, smiling at their eager emperor and the pretty bride.

"To bed, of course!" XueYa bit through his gritted teeth. In his haste, XueYa forgot where the wedding chamber was.

Goddamn it! He still wasn't used to the new layout of the palace grounds. The sun was already setting. They were wasting time!

"You damn pervert!" LiangLin tightened his hold around XueYa's throat, throttling the air out of him. "Let me down!"

"You aren't helping at all! We should be having fun at the moment!" XueYa managed to heave with his crushed windpipe.

"Who said I want to… to…" LiangLin's blush darkened as he wrapped his fingertips around XueYa's earlobe, twisting it. "Have fun by yourself!"

"I could, but why should I if I have such a beautiful bride now?" XueYa's eyes teared up from the pain LiangLin was inflicting on him, but he wouldn't let go! Someone better chop his arms off if they wanted him to surrender his bride!

"You!" XueYa snapped at the nearby eunuch watering a flower bush. The servant scurried over.

"Yes, your highness."

"Where is my sleeping chamber?"

"..." The servant was taken aback by surprise. How could the emperor not know where he slept every night? It wasn't like he had anyone to sleep with him for him to stay away from his big bed.

"You are lost in your own home? What kind of emperor are you?" LiangLin said, smiling at XueYa's pained fluster.

So XueYa wasn't this almighty sorcerer after all. Even he could get lost in his horny haste. It was quite cute, but LiangLin wouldn't be the one to admit it.

"Just answer the question," XueYa growled, and the servant hurried to show the way.

The news of the emperor losing his sense of direction on his wedding day would be the hot topic for days to come. XueYa could already tell. But that wasn't XueYa's problem, anyway. They all thought he was the pristine, well-behaving YaYun.

The only person whose opinion mattered was LiangLin, but even then, XueYa didn't mind it. At least his bride would know it was LiangLin's who made him lose his mind in a situation like this.

By the time they reached the low arch to the inner yard of the palace leading to YaYun's sleeping quarters, XueYa dismissed the servant.

LiangLin tensed in XueYa's arms the closer they got to the door. A little jump and a low hiss sounded as XueYa kicked the doors in with his foot and kicked it close behind them. He got them just by themselves now.

"Um," LiangLin said as he saw the burning red candles on the table and the wine arranged ready for the two of them. Ah, he wasn't ready to be pinned down! This was happening too fast!

"Let me down!"

"Soon."

XueYa made his way around the table, walking the two steps up to reach the sleeping chamber. From the thin veils wrapped around the bed pillars to the sheets were all red.

The bed was huge, and the two of them could roll around freely without a fear of falling off.

LiangLin's felt his body burn from excitement and the fear of the unknown as XueYa finally loosened his hold and placed LiangLin gingerly on the bed.

But before XueYa could lower his butt on the sheets, LiangLin was already up and running for the doors, with XueYa scrambling after him.

LiangLin wasn't ready for papapa! XueYa could papapa by himself, alone on that huge bed! Knock himself out for all LiangLin could care!

Run LiangLin, RUN! QAQ
