2 The Grey Clouds

Thats all that she could think is run. Run faster or he'll catch you, run and hide where he'll never find you.

Crimson found a small cave that she could squeeze into but just barely, her height caused it to be difficult. Being five foot seven was not ideal to her but she was thankful she had found someone who was willing to deal with it but only because he was taller than her. While sitting in this small cave she closed her eyes and looked back on her life and how she got to where she is now. She suddenly heard leaves crunching by the entrance of the cave.

"Crimson where are you? You can come out now..."

"Your mother will kill me if we aren't back soon..."

Crimson looked at her watch, it was a pure silver watch the hands of the tiny clock were made from a dark blue crystal and the background to the face was white with silver Roman numerals. Indeed it was getting late so she crawled out of the small cave looking around for her boyfriend Lucas Black. Yes black, related to Sirius, Bellatrix, and Narcissa Black, his uncle and aunts. It was important that she as a pureblood dated and married another pureblood who was in high standings. Her family being the second most prestigious family after the famous Gaunt family which has been lost for almost two decades. The sky grew dark as the clouds became more grey and storm like. She could smell the rain and closed her eyes to take in the calming aroma when too arms wrapped around her waste from behind and held her close.

"Come my raven we must be getting inside"

Lucas' voice always had a warming effect on Crimson, whenever her spoke she would melt like butter and instantly be calmed and feel safe.

"One moment lets just stand here and take it all in"

So the two stood in the woods behind Crimsons mansion and enjoyed the smell of the oncoming rain and winds that were slowly picking up. Soon enough a drop of rain fell onto crimsons nose. She slowly opened her piercing blue eyes that could rival any Malfoy and turned to look at Lucas.

"We best be off now or else mother will have my head for coming in soaked from the rain."

Lucas winked at her and took her hand. Both took of running as to not get caught in the rain, Crimson was at a disadvantage because of her heels and long dress but she could still keep up and safely made it into the back door which led into the kitchen.

"Sapphire!"

"Yes miss, what may I help with?"

"Can you get Lucas and I some raspberry tea please?"

"Of course miss anything you need miss"

Crimson smiled at the small elf. They adopted Sapphire only a year ago, she is a free elf but insisted on working for Crimsons family because of their kindness. Crimson had made the tiny elf a Ravenclaw blue dress before she came to the mansion and Sapphire has worn it ever since even tho she has other dresses to wear. Crimson also always made sure to sneak a couple galleons to Sapphire every week just incase when she was shopping and she saw anything she wanted she could get it although she never did buy anything for herself. Soon enough the raspberry tea floated over to her and Lucas.

"So what do you think?"

"About what Luke?"

"Yep I knew it you were in another world ignoring me as usual"

"I was not! I was only thinking about how we've only had Sapphire for a year, thats all"

"Oh okay then, but I was asking if you wanted to come over to my place tomorrow because my mother really wanted to see you?"

"Oh, uhm, I would love to but I have some family issues to attend to with father tomorrow. What about Saturday before term begins, and I can stay over?"

"Ill talk to mother and see what I can do, but I best be off now before it gets too dark and mother stars to worry."

"I love you Crimson, always"

"Be safe Lucas, I will owl you tomorrow"

Lucas too the floors and went home. In all reality Crimson didn't have any family issues, she had personal issues that she really needed to clear up. The other week she caught her parents talking in the small parlor.

FLASHBACK TWO WEEKS AGO

"Rena we must tell her before she finds out on her own"

"No, I can not and will not lose my little girl no matter what Incuis, you may be her father but I am her mother and I say no."

"But Im not her father and you are NOT her mother so we must tell her."

Crimson took a sharp breath and turned away from the door, quickly walking through the hallway and up to her room on the third floor.

"What does this all mean, who am I, where do I belong?"

So many questions ran through her head. She ran her slender manicured hands through her wavy brown hair wanting to scream. But, she just laid there staring at her ceiling enchanted like the one in the Ravenclaw common room. She found the constellation Draco making her mind wander back to her relationship that ended only two short years ago. Her, Draco, and what she thought would be her forever relationship. But then Draco drifted away and found Hermione who is now funnily enough one of her best friends. She smiled because those two were perfect for each other and She found Lucas who is closer in age and better for her. Lucas, what would happen if she found out she's a muggle born. Would he still love her, of course he would he didn't care about that blood shit. I will find out more about whomever I am and if it comes to it ask Dumbledoore because he must know something.

"Crimson darling time for bed!"
