38 Mission (part 4)

It was the next morning when a knock in the door was heard. It was the other team who were in the same Inn and were left at their disposal. Jolin and Grace got up at the same time when they heard a familiar voice say, "Hello, we are from the same 'place' and we are reporting to see if you need any help today. We thought maybe you could..." At that moment Jolin opened the door, not letting James finish, he gave him a hug and ushered him in. Grace just smiled at them. She was happy she would have people to bully and knew so she could mess around with. It would've sucked if it was a team she had to get reacquainted with. They hadn't met all the teams yet, so she only knew some from personal intel.

James:" Wow, wow, wow. Fancy meeting you guys here. Why do we always come after you guys have been attacked for whatever random reason? Seriously. Please tell me at least Mal wasn't involved directly."

Jolin: "Well um...whatever it was that happened, we just got really unlucky...as always."

Tomlin: "Well I am glad you guy look fine. We are suppose to travel for our mission as well but the instructor is verifying that those guys are gone. Whoever they may be."

Grace: "You more than anyone, knows we don't need any babysitters but i am not about to say no, only because I missed a worthy opponent."

After James came in followed by Tomlin, they saw more people making there way into their rooms living room area where everyone else was waiting.

Elena: " Well I excuse me. I certainly don't know any of you guys but, could it be possible you never encountered actual professionals? What if you all just made this up. I certainly don't see any serious injuries. Maybe you guys couldn't handle simple assassins and some actually escaped? Couldn't handle a simple mission huh?"

Mark: "Excuse me?! Who are you to be talking like that huh."

Grace went a grabbed mark's shoulder, just to make sure nothing would happen.

James immediately stepped in between her and them.

James: " Well, excuse her. She obviously is serious..cough cough. I mean please don't take her seriously. "

Elena flashed James a murdering eye, but quickly went to one side of the room as if she didn't notice anyone else. James shuddered for a second before putting on a bright smile. Another girl caem in and just slightly smiled at them before joining Elena. At that instant, two more people came in through the door.

Storm: " Grace and Jolin! O my! I haven't seen you guys in ages!"

Grace and Jolin explained in surprise, " Stormy!?"

Birdin: "Guy's don't forget me either!"

Grace: " What, Birdin, you too! Well, I guess now we know more than half of your team."

Tomlin: " Oh, so these or the guys you guys had talked about?! O wow, camp sure is small enough and big enough that we all sort of know each other but haven't seen each other in a while?" He then laughed awkwardly.

Mal and the rest got up to introduce themselves.

Liam: " Ugh" Liam thought inside his head, "More people!"

Birdin: " I feel like I know one of you or encountered one of you two before..."

He was looking straight at Mal and Liam. They both made thinking expressions but Birdin gave up after a while.

Navenia then went to talk with the two ladies, of which one was Elena. Elena seemed to have no problem with Navenia at first, especially after she somehow felt her head stop hurting after shaking hands with her. To everyone else, Elena, was cautions and serious. The other girl was Natalia, a ranger and part medic.

Mark: " So what are you guys doing here? What was your mission?"

Tomlin: " We are here for some escorting or information gathering since we all look slik..jeje."

Mark: " Um, ok?"

Tomlin: " Look man, we are here as a courtesy. We secured the Inn since yesterday, as you were aware. Since our instructor is gone, we are here keeping an eye out for information to see if those strangers that came out of no where came or will come back. No one has seen them so. Who knows."

Mal: " They were definitely not from the bandits as I explained to the Instructor. I wonder if some Organization is coming through and found us. They probably wanted to get rid of witnesses. They could've also been training. They weren't all old or young. Anyways, we couldn't possible go against them so we had to keep ourselves safe. Especially after witnessing their strange weapons that could immobilize us, they had an expert...Anyways I am glad to see you guy's know Grace and Jolin. I personally feel more at ease now."

Tomlin: " Ah, yes, my... new acquaintance... I feel like I've see you somewhere... Well I hope we can take today to practice against each other if you are all up to it?"

Jolin: " O yea, have to make up for lost time sure. It's been a while also. Storm and Birdin, I hope you have improved since then!"

Storm: " Ha, am not all brawn anymore you know."

Birdin: " My stealth had also improved."

Jolin: " Well you all better watch for our very own Mal or Liam jeje."

They made a plan to go out and train in a secure location in their area after another Instructor came to check on them.
