16 The meeting-part 5

snapping out of her thoughts she asked,

"how old are you mike"

"seven years old mum"he replied again

"alright,so do you know the road that leads to your house".

she asked him still shocked by his age though.

seeing him nod his head,she beckoned to one of the teachers and told them the issue once everything was settled she directed them to her parked car.

she helped the kids with their school bags and lunch box and tucked both Heaven and Mike in the back of the car, strapping them with the seat belt,Blackey sat beside her.

Entering the car,she Geared the car back to life and zoomed out of the school compound and headed straight to a nearby desert and chicken based shop,even though the kids had told her nothing of them being hungry,but she knew they they would be.

she caught sight of a worker in the company coming out,she was a regular customer there so they had recognized her car and had sent the waitress to meet her,she payed for a bucket of fried chicken,fried rice and ice cream she didn't forget to add a couple of cup cakes,chocolate and five bottles of fruit juice and water as well.

Once all she ordered for arrived she shared it between the kids and fed blackey with a chicken drumsticks,then she ignited the car staring at the location ,Mike's teacher had given her the GPS directed her, looking at the rear mirror she smiled at the way the kids gubbled their food happily.

Turning her concentration back to the road,she realized the street was a familiar one ,Her car automatically stopped in front of a gigantic building,she thought for a second,if she had forgotten the address or mixed it up,but she turned to look at mike who did not look scared of their current location.

"Mike we are here"she said and highlighted from the car and went to the back seat door and opened it ,helping the kids highlight as well,she helped Mike with his bag,while heaven went to blackeys' side releasing it ,when all this was done,heaven held blackeys chain,while Hannah locked the car holding both heaven and Mike's hand in hers with his bag hanging on her shoulder.

Approaching the gate she clicked in the bell,and relaxed.

suddenly a lady came to meet them,once the lady caught sight of her young master with a woman she would never call strange,this was the her idol standing right in her presence,seeing Mike's bag in the ladies shoulder she immediately opened the gate and greeted them cheerfully.

"Miss Hannah"Hannah who had not gotten used to people recognizing her.

she heard the lady in front of her call her by name cheerfully, however Hannah has always been the overly cautious type always avoiding the advances of people,but the genuity in the lady before her eyes said something else.

"Uhm have met"she asked the lady.

"I'm the house keeper of this house,I'm mary,I'm the sister to the boy you helped three years ago,Stephen the one you sent overseas to finish his education, thanks so much you gave us hope to live even after our parents death got us devastated, thanks so much,I can't thank you enough,may God bless you,"Hannah had helped a lot of people she would not recognize even if they came her way this day,she remained silent

"miss Hannah,please come in I will call inform master of your presence,if I may ask,do you have an appointment with him"she asked Hannah,since the house was known to her master's friend(Paul),his nephew and some people she wasn't privilege to know.

"No, I came to meet him on some personal issues"she replied as she ushered the kids in , following them ,the bags has been retrieved by Mary.

Hannah being an extreme introvert only spoke when she felt the need too but among her best friend she was an extreme extrovert.

"ok then I will go in to call him now okay,please have your seat"Mary politely said as she moved upstairs with the bag in her arms,then she remembered their young master had just arrived as well,she wondered what the judge wanted to see her master on,she wished her well and continued her journey up,first to the young master's room then to their master's room.

Knocking at their master's rooms door,she waited for a reply when she didn't get any she was about knocking the second time,when the door got opened,not daring to look into the eyes of the sweetbitter look she would get,she immediately bowed her head.

"you have a visitor,master"she said swallowing a mouthful of air .

"I'm not expecting,anybody,tell them to leave"John was about to close the door.

"sir she came with mike"she paused prayed her persistence won't cost her,her head.

"so?"John paused to ask , irritation in his voice.

"sir, remember Miss Hannah the famous Judge,she's the one and she came along with a girl,Mr luthra's daughter"Mary finally revealed,happy she was able to gain her master's attention,she bowed her head and took her leave.

John's eyes got widened at the mention of Paul's daughter,the maids knew the luthra's well to be able to identify his daughter wasn't an issue to him,so he didn't bother to ask if she was sure,the only issue he had was Hannah,Paul's wife had no idea where he lived how could Paul carelessly give Hannah his address ,he knew they where best friends and they had agreed to meet in her chamber not his house,the only way to know was to hear directly from her mouth.

"tell her I'll join her in two minutes"John finally said before closing his rooms door.

Mary smiled as she ran back to the sitting room to relay the message to her idol.

"He will join you in two minutes ma'am"she said on returning to the sitting room.

"would you like me to fix you and the kids something"she politely asked.

"No I'm okay,thanks,I'm sure the kids are too"Hannah replied,as she watched Mary leave the sitting room,the kids had gone to Mike's room to play.

"can you watch over the kids please,they are in Mike's room"she asked Mary who's back had been turned towards her,at her request Mary immediately smiled then turned to face Hannah and nodded.

"thanks"Hannah was left alone now in the sitting room,admiring the masculinity in the decorations it held,it was obvious the owner of this house has no sense of feminine in them.

Remebering Mike's sadness she realized why the aura emanating from the house was cold.

"Mrs Hannah" a cold, masculine but firm voice jugged her out of her reverie,she turned to face the direction the voice came from,

'John Smith' her eyes popped at the revelation.

standing in front of her is the man whose protrait she had seen in Paul's house,the one in her dream.Her chest tightened at the revelation she was suddenly caught in, and her legs came to stand on their own .

who would have known that she would be meeting him soon,she didn't know why she felt this way but she couldn't bring herself to describe how she was feeling right now.
