13 The meeting-part 2

It took only ten minutes for Paul to get to her office,once he got there he knocked briefly and got in he was about saying hello when Hannah's voice shut him up.

what took you so long ,I thought I clearly said ten seconds"she pretended to be annoyed,by angrily saying.

Paul on the other hand read his friends body language he knew she was angry but pretending to be as well ,he couldn't figure why she acted this way.

Have your seat,do you intend to stand all day,oh I forgot you are one of the best millitants in all of the United States of America you can keep on standing,what she was true,but she said it in a way to show her disgust at him,making her anger obvious.

Paul took his seat, sitting opposite her.

"Rhoda can you stop acting this way,if at all let let me know why you are angry please"Paul asked in a confused tone pleadingly.

Paul was right he wasn't aware of what Rhoda was thinking and the curse of her anger ,so she had to tell him at this thought the anger in her subsided a bit.

"Paul I know you are here to see me but before you proceed,can I ask you a question please".

Paul who wasn't sure where this was heading to simply nodded his headed giving her his permission to speak on.

"Paul if your family was caught up in a fire and the armies were caught up in the same family what would you pick,answer me truthfully,if your wife was falling of a cliff alongside your comrade and you had the opportunity to pick one person,who would you pick".

"Lost in the mystery of Rhoda's question he pondered on it,and wasn't sure what to say,he had suddenly become speechless.

Rhoda who was studying Paul all this while noticed how speechless he had become so she asked again"Paul did you hear my questions"

Paul nodded"since you did please answer me"

"My wife of course"He finally replied her.

Hannah felt Paul answered her out of answering sake,she didn't think it to be sincere so she said "Paul if it was me and Blossom falling off that cliff who would you pick"she finally asked the question Paul dreaded the most.

Paul's eyes widened at her question,He loved Blossom truly but Rhoda was his childhood friend,his first love ,his gist partner,crime partners as well, Through the bad and the good time when they suffered together,all the times the shared together,they studied in the same kindergarten class, moving to the same secondary school to college,before they parted ways since Rhoda had gone to a law school,bit they still kept in touch with each other,he had joined the army school,not only because he had passion for it.

He had gone mainly because his best friend had told him one night when he had sneeked into Hannah's room in her parents house,days before each went to their own University.
