18 The meeting -part 7
Paul walked out of Hannah's Chambers with an heavy heart,he didn't bother to use the elevator, instead he walked to his wife's office.
On getting to his wife's office he gave a knock, after so much hesitation,he didn't know how he would bring up the information Hannah had just relayed to him,he was fearful of her reaction,he didn't want to cause her more pain than he already had.
"come in"her voice snapped him out if his thoughts,walking in,Blossom watched him glancing across the room in surprise and shock,once he got what he was searching for,he locked the door behind them since the colleague Blossom shared the office with wasn't around.
The look he received from Blossom would continue to haunt him for life,it was a look of surprise of seeing someone, like she had just seen a ghost,it was obvious she wasn't expecting him,The look gave him an insight of how he was when it came to her family.
"honey are you busy"Paul spoke snapping the dazzled Blossom from her reveries,she stood up from her sit and ran to hug him fighting back the tears in her eyes.
"I missed you"withdrawing herself to look T his face ,she found out she could not,paul had caught her in a warm tight embrace,he burst into tears,how stupid of him to not have noticed what his wife was passing through all this while.
Finally letting go of her, he still held her by her waist.
Blossom noticed his silent sobs ,she brought her fingers to wipe his tears away,then she stood on her toes to kiss his cheeks.
"I missed you too"she said,"what are you doing here"Blossom asked as she drew him to sit on her chair.
"I came to see my lovely wife,or I'm not allowed to?"he retortedly replied her.
"no ,it's just you never come to see me,you only visit Hannah, I know it's related to work soo....Never mind?should I get you coffee"Blossom replied him.
However her reply had sent Paul in dilemma he wished he could reverse,he was such a terrible husband and father he was lucky he had a great wife.
"I'm sorry,I'm really sorry"Paul said not knowing what to say to but to apologise.
Blossom was however shocked at her husbands reaction,she didn't know why he was apologizing his sincere expression amazed her as well.
then she knelt down in front of him,and said,
"My love, what are you apologizing for,I'm confused,please make me understand,did you do something wrong to make you apologise to me"Blossoms thoughts were running wild ,is it possible that he....she shaked herself ,she did not want to believe what her mind was bringing her.
Paul silence killed her as well.
if you remain silent how would I know what you are apologizing for besides you have never hurt me,please talk,your silence is killing me"she asked him pleadingly.
instead Paul raised her up to stand on her feet and set her to sit on his laps.
"Hannah told me everything" he revealed,he knew Hannah would kill him if she knew he used her name as an alibi to express himself,he still used it anyways.
he noticed the shocking look that got plastered on Blossoms face,made him wonder if there was something else he didn't know,that Hannah had not told him of.
"what did she tell you"with her pales Expression she managed to whisper,the look in her face was that of a criminal who has been caught red handed committing a crime he had denied of not doing before.
