9 it just me

The luthra's home was a fifty minutes drive from work on getting to the gate,being a familiar friend of the luthras the gate opened on its own as it had an electrical substance that scans things to prevent Intruders one of the ways Paul had kept his home safe while at work.

Remembering Paul I quickly parked in as I highlighted from the car as I placed blackey on the floor who ran straight to the door as I got closer to the door I pressed the door bell.The door was answered by heaven who hugged me tightly as I hugged her back but dropped to her knee on seeing blackey.

Closing the door firmly behind me,I walked in to the Kitchen to because of the aroma that welcomed me the moment I got in must be blossom cooking seeing her alone I drew near where she was as I saw what she was making ,my stomach growled.

"How was work" I asked breaking the silence between us and "where's Paul?"

"he isn't back,anyways how you feeling now?"eyeing me suspiciously

as if on cue I knew why she was eyeing me so I told her "I woke up with a migraine and I used my drugs if that's what you wanna hear"seeing her smile softly I rolled my eyes friend can be so oppressive.

"so Paul gave me a surprise visit today and you know what we talked about?"redrawing my words gently know how obsessed she could be when it came to informations 'who taught her'I scolded myself.

Noticing how she gawked at me and knowing that I have caught her I attention I said never mind its a secret,she narrowed her eyes at me like she was about to bite my head off "then why tell me "I laughed at this, as she served her cooking and we headed off to the dinning room heaven must have seen us together didn't want to disturb as she sat quietly in the sitting room but at the sight of food she came straight to interrupt our conversation I laughed she hasn't changed a bit ever since I knew her as we ate quietly it was just a simple meal of spaghetti and meatballs as we were done I helped her with the dishes we retired to the sitting room as I sat comfortably on the rug.

Feeling a gaze on me I looked up to see who it was it was blossom giving me a cue to speak first sighing since I didn't even know what to say or what to say I simply said,

"so Paul visited me at work" I repeated,Then remembering how I asked him of how to meet John when and where to which I never got an answer I asked this time shocking blossom it was just the two of us here heaven had long gone to her room with blackey.She had not expected us to talk about John even though I knew blossom was a great talker when it came to issues like this amongst us.

"what did you guys talk on" she asked then I started from the creeking to which she laughed at and said more like Paul then I continued to the John work which I didn't give a detail of to herwhen I was done I asked if she had told him of the dream.

"we didn't even get the chance to talk" she blushed at this which left me wondering why she was blushing.

"what's funny?" eyeing her suspiciously

clearing her throat she said never mind

as I said an ok her cell phone rang across the room as she stood to pick it up I could barely hear her as she spoke some word to whoever it was then I heard I love you paul as she hung up and sat with me on the rug "what's wrong"I asked worriedly.

"He promised to be home but he is not coming" she whispered and I could see her fighting her tears back as I drew her in a close and tight hug but it wasn't working as she cried uncontrollably in my arms then I drew her back as i raised her chin up to bring her eyes close to mine

"you know he loves you right"

"i know it's just.. I am sorry maybe am being selfish"she said feeling guilty,i have been in pain and she has been there for me always been but I was never attentive to her thinking her to be strong at this I hugged her tightly.

"you are not I said" this time assuringly "that is the proof that you truly love him"

"you think?" as she looked up at me willingly for the first time since the call as I nodded my head slowly

"thank you what will I do without you hannah" wiping her tears with the back of my hand.

"obviously nothing" and this brought a smile to her lips.

"why don't you let me check on heaven be right back,on getting to her room I met asleep with blackey beside her kissing her on her forehead her as I covered her, switched off the light and closed the door as I headed back to meet blossom.

"she's asleep already,what time is it?"I asked

"it's nine I guess you can't go back home now it's late,let me get you a night gown"she replied

Now that she mentioned clothed I took off my jacket as I laid back, switching on the TV as blossom came back with a pink night gown in her hand as I slipped it on and I watched her put twilight disk in the DVD before we went to get a foldable bed with a blanket which we laid and slept on.

"have you guys ever thought of giving heaven a sibling" I couldn't help but ask she was silent for a while before saying we did and she kept silent again facing her I realized she had been blushing she must be embarrassed by my question,teasing her I said,"did you guys... like yesterday"as I trailed off deliberately.

"Hannah"she screamed I couldn't point out her reaction because she had switched the light and the TV, but I could feel her body tremble with laughter I laughed,

"okay,okay let's sleep Goodnight honey"as I yawned at which she laughed mockingly.

"Goodnight"she replied

"hmmmmm" I hmmed drowsily
