In the world of Regulus, magic is an energy resource called White Lightning. People use it for everyday life and are divided into clans that utilize a certain style of magic. Soma Rigel adored the strongest of mages known as the Grandmasters, especially the Phoenix Grandmaster Simurgh after saving he and his adopted siblings from death one day. He set his eyes to Polaris Academy, to be like his savior and become a Grandmaster. Little did Soma know, there are are other worse things than the Wraiths he and his siblings almost died from. This is the story of one who seeks knowledge of the world, even if that knowledge can lead to ruin.
