7 The Party Is Just Getting Started

Fen Hua dragged Ting Mei with her and sat on a fancy couch without caring for the other people trying to engage in a conversation with her.

" Are you uncomfortable Fen Hua?" whispered Ting Mei to Fen Hua when she saw frowning.

" No, I just don't like those hypocrite people. When I just debuted, they all gave me the cold shoulder but now that I am on top, they come ask me for favors like the past didn't happen!" scoffed Fen Hua.

" It's the industry world, it's to be expected..." replied Ting Mei with an exasperated voice.

When Fen Hua's appearance to the party reached the ears of the party's host, he quickly got up from his chair and walked towards her.

When Fen Hua saw the host walking towards her, she slowly got up and went to him to shake hands with him.

" Mister Jin, as always you have a great taste for parties and it's my pleasure to partake in it," said Fen Hua in a calm tone.

Jin Liang, at the young age of 27, is Heng Empire's Social Media Boss ( SMB ) and is the right hand of Heng Huan in the corporation.

Despised hating the people from the industry, Fen Hua was relatively close to him and appreciated him like a good friend. When she just started out and joined Heng Empire, he was one of the first ones to accept her and she always felt grateful towards him.

Jin Liang also appreciated Fen Hua, she was not a fake person while being a celebrity and was very fun to be around. While in public, they couldn't expose their close relation or it would bring negative impact on Fen Hua's career if they thought that they were in a relationship.

Seeing her friend happily talking to Jin Liang, Ting Mei went to the bathroom in a hurry after she gulped down 3 glass of water.

After drying her hand and coming out of the bathroom, she saw two lovers quarreling. Actually, she didn't know if they were a couple, but a pretty girl was clinging to the indifferent man's arm and was screaming at him. The man surely thought the woman was very annoying when he shot her a cold and deathly stare filled with annoyance, it made the man look even scarier than he already was.

What a waste of his beautiful face thought Ting Mei. His face was truly gorgeous and would even make guys go gay for him and his tall and strong looking physic made him genuinely look godlike.

Walking closer and closer to the arguing people, Ting Mei heard more clearly their conversation.

" Why won't you just accept me, I have everything to fit you well: beauty, wealth, talent. What else do you want more!" screamed the women.

" Everything to fit me well? Are you kidding? You are just an immature brat in my eyes! I treated you well a bit and you think I'm in love you? I just gave face to your dad because of our good relationship. But now I swear, if you don't let go of my arm right now, I am going to retire all the founds I gave to your dad's corporation." growled the handsome man.

" You wouldn't dare!" retorted the angry woman.

" Who do you think I am?" asked the man in a calm and cold voice, swinging his arm out of the woman's embrace.

" You can't do this to me! I won't allow it! I love you too much and besides, you have been single all your life and you never had a girlfriend! Why won't you just give me a chance?" howled desperately the girl.

This time, the man didn't even responded but shot her a deathly glare, warning her for the last time.

The girl immediately backed out a few steps but was still unwilling to admit defeat.

" I will only back out if you have a girlfriend if you don't, I have all rights to pursue you!" said the girl.
