17 Tamed By The Great Devil

At the entrance of Fen Hua's villa, Heng Huan was saying goodbye to Ting Mei.

Ting Mei felt very bad.

During the whole dinner, she couldn't bring herself to say anything about herself and felt extremely bad for Heng Huan who was trying very hard to start a conversation. Heng Huan could have just ditched her during the dinner but he didn't. He was a man of few words but still tried to engage in a conversation, Ting Mei started having a new form of respect towards him.

During the trip home, Heng Huan didn't talk and just worked on his laptop. He probably didn't want her to feel awkward and she was really happy when he did that for her.

Seeing him walk away just made the knife of guilt in her heart sting harder in pain. She couldn't take it anymore and went to grab his suit's sleeve.

" Thank you very much for the dinner tonight and I am sorry for tonight, I am just very tired from my trip back here. Next time, when I officially enter the company, may I ask for your company again? It will be on me next time." spoke gently Ting Mei with a small and tender smile.

When Heng Huan's sleeve got grabbed, he couldn't help but feel defeated. This girl built incredibly tall walls around her that prevented him from entering no matter what. He wanted so badly to be the one to break those wall but ended up being rejected over and over again for the first time in his entire life. He was completely feeling defeated and was getting extremely frustrated with himself.

The moment he was about to enter the car in frustration, this little devil comes right back at him and shows him the most tender smile in the entire whole world that melted his glacial heart. She then asked him to join her for another dinner. The whole night, he was getting played right in her hands. He couldn't help but laugh inwardly.

How would he dare to refuse her invitation? At this moment, he couldn't help but sigh: the woman he loves was a great little devil.

Seeing Heng Huan sighed, she realized how her actions were out of control. She ignores him at the dinner and then asks him out to dinner once again. What was even more stupid of her was that she actually dared to invite the great ice king Heng Huan. She couldn't help but start panicking.

"Obviously, if you are busy then there is no helping it, it is a disappointment but please do no feel reserved to say no, either way..." panicked Ting Mei.

But before she could add another word, the ice king let out a small chuckle.

" It would be my pleasure but I feel like a dinner would be too boring and wouldn't fit you, so how about we do something else next time to celebrate?" gently said Heng Huan.

Ting Mei was in total disbelief, the great king not only laughed but also accepted to spend time with her! This was a miracle!

" Sure...wherever you want to go..." uttered Ting Mei in absolute shock.

" I should have a day off after your audition, let's go somewhere fun to celebrate." continued Heng Huan in a soft tone.

" Yes...of course..." staggered Ting Mei, extremely shocked.

Was this really not an illusion? Her world was swaying weirdly. She clenched a nail in her palm just to make sure she wasn't in a dream or something else.

Ouch! It was not an illusion! The ice king was really talking to her! This is crazy! The famous ice king said " fun ", wanted to celebrate with her, was literally asking her out on a "date", if this could be considered a date and had laughed in front of her! This is totally unbelievable! She heard from Fen Hua that he was cold as ice, busy all the time, never laughed or smile, merciless, evil to the core and never had contact with girls, just like a king. That's where he got the title of " King of Ice" from. Judging by his behavior now, people just didn't know him and was judging him too fast.

Wrong, totally wrong..."King of Ice" fitted perfectly Heng Huan. Everyone who knew him a bit or well, like An Chung, would know his temper very well. If they saw them like that, they would immediately faint. The great King Of Ice was actually moved by someone and only in front of her, he would be this gentle. If Heng Huan was the King If Ice then the person who tamed him could only be the Great Devil himself! And that Great Devil was Ting Mei!
