3 Invitation

" Good afternoon!" replies back Ting Mei.

"Did you sleep well?" asked Fen Hua while reading a book and while drinking an herbal tea.

" I did, but isn't already 4 pm? Don't you have work?" said Ting Mei in a concerned tone.

" Today is a day off, I have an important party to attend tonight, so they let me take the whole day off," replied Fen Hua while sipping her tea.

" Really? How lucky for you! But what is this party about? Why is it so important to even let you skip work?" Ting Mei asked in a doubtful tone.

" It's an important gala where all the celebrities reunite to celebrate for the biggest company in the entertainment, Heng Empire." replied back Fen Hua.

" Heng Empire? Wow! You are incredible to get invited to such a high caliber party! Even I, who was living in America for 4 years have heard about this company! This company has spread over the entire world already!" Ting Mei said in astonishment.

Fen Hua is so highly placed in the society... though Ting Mei.

Fen Hua let's out a small chuckle before responding back.

" I know! It is truly incredible and you know what? Their president, Heng Huan, is actually only 29 years old! This company will become even bigger in the future!" continued Fen Hua.

If I could have a status that can stand on the same ground with this company, I would have the life so much easier, I should aim for this first! Ting Mei thought to herself.

Suddenly, the indifferent Fen Hua jumped out of her seat and went to hold Ting Mei's hand.

" You know what? You should come to the party with me! It isn't fun at all to attend the party alone and if you want to become an actress, it would be a huge advantage for you to attend this event! You'll come with me right?" asked Fen Hua with an excited voice.

When Ting Mei was nineteen, she already knew what she wanted to do in life: an actress.

So she worked hard every day on her studies, trying to convince her dad to let her start acting when she graduates. But who knew that those stab backers already have other plans for her.

Now that she is back, becoming an actress is a top priority: she will not let this golden opportunity slip by.

Going to the party will let her familiarize with the industrial world and will help her, hopefully, build connections to help her in the industry world.

Ting Mei didn't hesitate to reply " Yes!"

Ting Mei rethought for a second and added: " Actually, I want to go visit my grandfather first, he was admitted to the hospital and I'm worried about his condition, but I'm all yours afterward!"

" It's wonderful! The party starts at 8:00 pm so we should get prepare two hours before, but you'll have time to go visit him don't worry!" responded back Fen Hua.

After eating some food and after dressing herself in a casual outfit, she went out and took a taxi, direction the hospital.
