43 Grim Reapers

In a sweets shop, Yu Yan dug into the cake with her spoon and swallowed the mouthful of cake in pure happiness, " I never knew there was such a good cake store here!"

As Ting Mei watched Yu Yan in a happy mood because of a cake, she was remembered at the time when she was in America with Ying Yue.

Being reduced to nothing, Ting Mei was sent to America in despair, feeling betrayed by everyone. Going to America didn't help. Even if she was away from the source, the pain still sat in her heart, burning her every day. She started losing sight of herself and started to play with her life, becoming a lifeless doll. She didn't know when it started but she began fighting with people in the streets, a person became a group and then a whole gang. Winning each time, alone and bearing the appearance of a pretty girl, she soon became famous in America's streets.

One day, searching to get involved in another fight to let off some steam, she met Ying Yue. Three mans ganging up on her, bad luck was on her side but the girl still bravely fought till her last breath of energy. Her stony heart was slightly shaken by her and Ting Mei decided to help her out. Afterward, Ying Yue and Ting Mei immediately became friends and Ying Yue presented Ting Mei to her friends. There were five and they were together because they all had a family problem, surviving in the group. Ting Mei soon got along with them and they decided to form a group called ' The Grim Reapers '. The group was composed of three girls including Ting Mei and three boys, they were all very young but didn't have a place to call home and that was the exact reason why Ting Mei created this group. They were all trying to survive with the grim reaper's scythe at their neck, thus where the name came from.

Ting Mei used all her saving to buy them a house where all of them could live and could call home, including herself. She really treated them like a family and same from them, they fastly became strongly bonded to each other.

All of the members were extremely strong, each and every one specializing in a category. Even though they had a job, they still had to learn to survive and had to become strong, thus where all their skills came from. But having skills meant that you had encountered a problem and that is why you learned to survive. An individual's problem soon lead to another one and another one and a group's problem which soon escalated and made them famous. Every street gang would know about the gang Grim Reapers, the famous group lead by the monster Ting Mei who was already famous enough but with her fellow member, the group undeniably became overpowered. Everyone would take all means to join this, now extremely rich and powerful, group called Grim Reapers. The group soon became huge and extremely overpowered, threatening large groups of people and influential families. This group became famous in a short six months and everyone would fear the group wherever they go.

This fearful group was lead by none other than Ting Mei. Staying in such a high position, you had to make some sacrifices, and Ting Mei did. Her hands became slightly dirtied and then a bit more. She soon became vicious and cruel, thinking of every way possible to survive and to ensure her friends a future. She didn't want her friends to be endangered and wanted to provide them the best of the best. Even though she became colder and colder, her aim and her motto was still and only: " Grim Reapers will always be your home even if death is at your door"

Fortunately, before the case worsened, her grandfather arrived and banned her from the group. He then sent her to an acting school beside her normal school. Her first year in the dark ended and she was put on the right track again by her grandpa. She left the group in Ying Yue's hand till she came back. A year after, she had finally seen the light and reached the peak of her acting career but was soon told to join the military school. She had to leave. Even when she was acting, she would often help the gang with problems but now that she won't be able to visit them, she decided to disband the group. The house that she earlier bought became a mansion and was given to the original five first members as the wealth was left in the hand of Ying Yue to share between the other members. Even though a lot of people refused to leave the group, Ting Mei really wanted them to live a life far from the underground world and to live righteously so that they won't end up dirtying their hands like her.

Ting Mei slowly wiped the lonely tear that was hanging on the corner of her eye and showed a faint smile," Ying Yue, I hope that wherever you are, you are still eating a cake with your most beautiful smile!"
