29 Eva Snow

Da Gang gulped down when he heard Miss Eva's scary response: he was once reminded of her horrible temper despite her small and cute appearance.

" Yes, I should have known better, you are absolutely right again Miss Eva," replied Da Gang in a trembling voice.

" It's fine, this room is also filled with indecent candidates..." muttered Eva as she scanned the room by the eye.

Finishing her sentence, she started screaming " Out!" to every candidate that she saw, after the ninth line, nobody passed till she reached the last line where stood Ting Mei.

Ting Mei, who didn't recognize the earlier screaming voice was in disbelief when she made eye contact with Eva.

Being brought back to her old memories from America, Ting Mei asked in disbelief: " Miss Eva?"

When Eva and her made eye contact, they immediately recognized each other in surprise.

" Mei?" also asked Eva in doubt.

After hearing her response, Ting Mei's beautiful face showed a gentle and sweet smile, recognizing one of her old acquaintance.

Seeing the sweet smile on Ting Mei's charming face, Eva's doubt directly flew away.

" Sweetie! It's been so long! Where have you been? Where did you go two years ago? I missed you so much?" cried out Eva in a teary voice.

" Eva! I also missed you a lot, I see that you are doing well and I am very happy!" Ting Mei hugged the teary Eva in her arms.

" I would go so much better if you are here! Why are you even here! You came to audition?" quickly continued Eva.

" Yes but what a coincidence to bump into you. Are you the casting director here?" demanded Ting Mei in a curious voice.

" Yes, and that is why I am immediately declaring that you passed, other rounds will be a cinch for you! But afterward, you'll have to explain why did my treasure go away!" declared Eva in a strict voice.

The words that flew out of Eva's mouth shocked not only the remaining participants but also the staff waiting behind Eva and Ting Mei.

Ting Mei passed the audition so easily by having connections: who would be fine with this kind of logic?

Nobody would, but this is the industry world and having connections is a very important asset as a performer. Furthermore, the one they were about to confront, if they had the guts, would be the famous Eva Snow. Her dad owns a huge entertainment company in America, not as big as Heng Empire but still had humongous power. Being born in the entertainment circle and being the descendant of the company, she had a wonderful talent for finding exceptional talent and managing those talents. She had already produced more than five hit artist by the young age of 30, reaching the end of that year, all the artist she was managing had all retired one after the other. After accomplishing their dreams so fast, being in the spotlight for so long and also winning an unimaginable amount of money and trophies, they were already satisfied.

Unfortunately for Eva, after losing her best artists, she couldn't help but lose the will to produce any more artist and she didn't find inspiration in any of the newcomers. Eventually, Ting Mei appeared as she visited one of her friend's acting class where she met Ting Mei. Falling in love with Ting Mei's incredible talent, the fire in her heart light up again. She chased after Ting Mei, who with doubts still accepted the contract and signed it only if she could breach anytime she wanted. Eva had already lived a huge trauma but had to accept or she'll lose Ting Mei. Ting Mei already knew that she would have to go back to Korea at some point and didn't want to give Eva false hope but still ended up trying to be an actress in America.

After working together for two years, they deepened their relationship and became well-matched work partners and made Ting Mei famous. Reaching the peak of her career in America, the news from Korea came and she was forced to join the military school, leaving her career and Eva in tears.

Despite being sad and disappointed, Eva knew that this day would come when the contract was signed with that special condition and didn't pursue Ting Mei further and neither asked about the reason why she wanted to quit.

Fortunately, before leaving, Ting Mei encouraged Eva to visit the world to seek for new talents with her astonishing flair and to not stay disheartened and look for the future generation stars.

After two years, here is she, in Korea, working with a worldwide company, Heng Empire, as the casting director.
