48 Enters The Room

The screen, now, displayed the number 43.

After seeing the number, Ting Mei opened the fancy door and casually walked in without any trace of fear.

Today, she was wearing a simple pair of black jeans with a with v-collared T-Shirt accompanied by a pink blush colored fancy business jacket. Simple, casual and neat, the style that Ting Mei liked the most.

Immediately, the judges started to take note of the candidate in front of them. Ting Mei entered and stood straight without any change of expression, quickly seizing up the people in front of her.

The judging panel was composed of five people, two men, and three women.

" The judges seem pretty strict and fair but the chances that they go against Zhao Fan to side with me is low...Hopefully, their reviews will reveal their true thoughts about my audition. As for Zhao Fan, I can already forget about it. In this case, the twin trick won't help either... " reflected Ting Mei as she looked at the judges.

Her gaze fastly swept the panel and finally landed of Zhao Fan who was already staring at her. Their gaze collided and sparks started to fly.

After the sudden shock, Zhao Fan helplessly retreated, " I can't believe that Heng Huan has a girlfriend! How is this possible! I made sure to kick all the rival and I never saw her around Heng Huan before tonight! There is no way! Heng Huan must be just playing with me!"

The sudden thought to run back to Heng Huang flashed in her mind but was quickly subdued when she remembered the gentle gaze and the slightly blushing face from Heng Huan.

In her entire time chasing Heng Huan, there was never a time when there was a woman near him, nor touching him which led to him never dating anyone or getting intimate with anyone. What's more, is that he was cold as ice and cruel like the devil, with a brain only created to win money and to become more powerful. No matter what happens, the only reaction you can get out of him would be his furrowed brows. How could this person have any emotions?

All the time, his eyes, icy, empty and deadly, never changing his glare and suddenly the layer gets melted and his eyes become soft. No one would believe that!

But the look on his face proved contrary to what she recently thought of Heng Huan. This powerful monster could actually show such a soft expression for a woman and blush! It was inconceivable!

Before running away, she had also quickly seized up the woman from head to toe and she was an incomparable beauty dressed in sky high priced clothing. She had to admit that if she fought straight on, there was no way that she could win and with the addition of Heng Huan backing her, there was practically zero chance.

Yes she was rich, yes she was pretty and yes she was arrogant and selfish but when she was confronted with the divine pair, a little voice in her head told her that she was no match at all. Accompanied by the sudden change of expression from Heng Huan, the shock was too huge and she immediately flew off. She regretted that she didn't stay there to actually confront the girl but there was no medicine for regret.

In the following week, she still couldn't get the image of Heng Huan's blushing face out of her mind and she was still under the shock of what happened. She tried many times to talk to Heng Huan but he blocked her entrance and refused to see her no matter what. Her dad finally convinced her to head to the auditions and be part of the judges by promising her that he could find a way to get Heng Huan to see her. Only under this promise, did she deliberately left the house and went to the auditions.

As soon as she stepped into the building, she instantly heard the rumors about her getting rejected by Heng Huan. The rumor would have spread from the staff working in the Heng Empire building who saw her getting rejected to see the president and reached the ears of everyone. Her mood soon reverted back to being gloomy, depressed and angered. After seeing the Heng Empire's name, her mood drooped severely as she remembered the humiliation she faced when she met An Chung, Heng Huan's assistant, that kept expelling her over and over. She was now fuming and felt that she couldn't be angrier than she already was.

Yet, when Ting Mei's gorgeous face entered her field of view, the inner fury she tried hard to suppress surged out. " You b**ch! You dare to appear in front of me! Don't you want to live anymore!"

" There is no way out..." signed deeply Ting Mei as she abandoned the idea to stay nice and low-key. She knew that with those arrogant people, shamelessness has no end and that it was a hassle to take care of them. Ting Mei resorted to the simplest way and shot Zhao Fan a deathly glare.

A/C: When I started this book, it was out of curiosity because I sincerely like writing (even though I suck...) but lazy is my middle name and you can see it...BUT GREAT NEWS! After a white night, I finally know where I'm headed and know half of the whole plot! ( Which before I didn't, because I wrote when inspiration hits me...) Basically, updates will be coming more smoothly because the flow that has been missing came back :) Please bear with my incompetence >.<!

I truly love each and every reader I have and this lazy me doesn't deserve you but god am I grateful to all of you who still stayed and asked for updates because this lazy me wouldn't have the courage to continue when the inspiration was dead if you guys didn't ask for it.
