53 Consequences

Consequences? Obviously, there would be some but only minor ones.

Ting Mei may have seemed reckless but it was all in her plan.

Yu Yan was taken aback by Ting Mei's speed typing. Her fingers danced skillfully over the plastic keys, the keys singing out like a chorus of doors on a faulty latch making her seem like an expert.

" Wow! You type so fast! what game are you playing?" Yu Yan wondered as she looked at Ting Mei's screen, it was filled with code.

" Nothing special, just a game to train your keyboard typing speed. " Ting Mei replied casually as she let Yu Yan watch as she cracked the last wall of defense.

" Yu Yan, can you go take a cup of water, I'm thirsty." Ting Mei demanded, trying to get Yu Yan away for her to search the videotape.

"Sure" Yu Yan responded as she got up to fetch a cup of water.

Actually, she was infiltrating the earlier's building's security camera to take in possession the full videotape of the earlier auditions just to ensure herself that she wasn't defenseless and would use it against Zhao Fan when she needed it so she made Yu Yan leave.

Luckily for her, Zhao hasn't thought of deleting it so Ting Mei was able to find it quickly and sent it to herself. Finally, she deleted every trace of hacking from the system of the building and the computer before Yu Yan came back.

Yu Yan handed her the cup as Ting Mei closed the laptop.

" Not playing anymore? " inquired Yu Yan.

" No, I played enough and it's almost my turn, I'll just revise my script," said Ting Mei as she took her script and started reading it.

" Ok, " Yu Yan nodded as she returned to her phone.

Was Ting Mei a hacker? You could say so or not.

When she was still with the Grim Reapers, she had learned from one of her friends how to code and along the way to hack some systems, resulting her in being able to hack a few simple systems but because her friend loved her dearly, he wanted her to at least master coding that is why she typed really fast and seemed like an expert.
