In the afternoon, Ting Mei and Heng Huan rode even more rides than they did in the morning before finally deciding to ride the Ferris wheel and going back home.

" I had so much for today! Thank you so much for celebrating with me Huan! " Ting Mei said with a huge smile when they entered the Ferris wheel.

Seeing her so happy, Heng Huan's heart warmed up.

Nevertheless, even though he was very happy to see that Ting Mei was relaxed him, he felt conflicted. Why? Because during the whole day she was very careful, making sure that nobody recognized them and was extremely oblivious to his feeling: making he feel completely helpless.

He really wanted to disclose to the world that Ting Mei was his possession and that nobody had the right to eye her but unfortunately, it was impossible...

" Huan? " Ting Mei asked.

" Hmm? I'm sorry I was lost in my thoughts. " Heng Huan answered.

" I already said it but I really want to thank you one more time. Thank you for today, I am extremely glad I got to spend such a relaxing time with you. " Ting Mei lightly smiled.

" Anytime, it was my pleasure. " Heng Huan happily answered, still keeping his stoic face.

" Hum... I am not sure if I should be asking that but..." Ting Mei trailed off, feeling a bit awkward.

" Yeah? " Heng Huan expressed interest.

" Do you want to be my... friend...?" Ting Mei hesitantly asked.

" Hmm? " Heng Huan's heart stopped beating for a second before confusingly blinking his eyes, " Friend? "

" Yeah..." Ting Mei embarrassingly admitted, holding her forehead, trying to hide her expression.

Gosh, this is so awkward! Why did I even asked him that? Will he think that I want to leech him off benefits?

She peeked out her eye from her hand and tried to observe Heng Huan's expression.

Henry Huan felt his heart stiffen and his breath hasten, " Was he making progress?"

A soft expression appeared on his face and he nodded his head, " It would be my pleasure. "

Hearing this, Ting Mei's tense facial expression decontracted a bit and she softly smiled, " Thank you for accepting even though its a bit weird..."

" I look forward to our friendship. " Heng Huan answered.

Getting out of the Ferris wheel, they awkwardly walked back to the car and finally Ting Mei laughed out loud, " Well, it had to start from somewhere! "

" Yeah. " Heng Huan immediately agreed.

" What are your hobbies? " Ting Mei started the conversation.

" Hum...I— I play...golf?" Heng Huan tried very hard to answer truthfully but except working he didn't really have time for other things...

Hearing this, Ting Mei giggled sweetly and said, " I guess I'll need to take you out for some fun in the futur! "

" Hmm, I look forward to it. " Heng Huan's entire being relaxed as he saw the his treasure was getting more and more comfortable around him.

" How about we go for car racing or skydiving? I really wanted to try these as soon as I arrived here but nobody wants to do it with me..." Ting Mei asked excitingly.

" ...Sure. " Heng Huan heard his heart tremble of slight fear from her intense tastes but still accepted.

" Great! I finally found someone to go with! " Ting Mei smiled happily.

9 p.m. - Ting Mei's house

" Call me before you sleep. " Heng Huan boldly said after dropping off Ting Mei at her house.

" ...Hmm...ok! Thank you for everything today, it was very fun! " Ting Mei smiled.

" My pleasure. Don't forget to call. " Heng Huan answered like a true gentleman before seeing her turn around and walk into her home.

Sigh..."Still a long way to go..." thought Heng Huan.

After Ting Mei took her sweet time in the bathroom and did her skincare routine, it was already 10 p.m.

Ting Mei jumped onto the fluffy bed and awkwardly looked at her phone, "...Do I really need to call...? "

Despite this weird feeling inside of her, Ting Mei dialed his number and pressed call.

It barely rang for two seconds before it was picked up by the other side, " Mei? "

" Hmm, it's me. You told me to call right? " Ting Mei responded.

" Thank you for remembering. " Heng Huan laughed in a low tone.

" Did you needed something? " Ting Mei asked.

" ...Not really. I just heard that friends call each other late at night to talk about life. " Heng Huan smoothly spat out a lie: he just wanted to hear her voice or else his heart wouldn't be at ease.

" Really? I didn't know that. " Ting Mei giggled softly.

" I did some research and found a place to skydive near the border of the city. Want to go? " Heng Huan proudly stated yet still in an indifferent tone.

" Wow! So fast! I would love to go but I still don't know my schedule yet so I will have to talk with Eva to know when I am free. How about you? When are you free? " Ting Mei demanded.

" I can easily clear the afternoon of any day so it depends on you. " Heng Huan indulgently said.

" What?!?! "

If An Chung was here, he would have definitely screamed in horror: No!! you can't just clear out your schedule like that!!
