47 Angry Zhao Fan

Arrived at the gigantic building where the first audition was held, Yu Yan and Ting Mei both immediately went to the front desk.

The little secretary was very shocked seeing Ting Mei's beauty but still kindly showed them the way to the auditioning hall.

Arrived there, Ting Mei rapidly scanned the room: the number of participants was less than she predicted.

Looking in the hall, she immediately spotted the delicate lady from yesterday's auditions, who was probably also here for the evaluation.

Following her observations, everyone was dressed very fancily which represented their thoughts on the audition. The audition was held to find a proper female lead for a jewel advertisement. The concept was "Marry and be happy!", obviously showcasing thousands of options of jewels. The ad was about a very loving couple preparing for their wedding and the wedding itself. They would have to pick all type of accessories for the future bride and showcase it during the wedding. This audition wasn't necessarily just for an actor but also for professional models so the competition was strong.

The company obviously didn't send the recruits here and expect them to actually win it but to let them have a taste of the real industry world and to test on them on their behavior and professionalism during the audition.

" Everyone is dressed so fancily..." mumbled Yu Yan as she followed Ting Mei through the crowd.

" Don't worry, as they say, clothes don't make the man." simply answered Ting Mei as she went to sit on a chair.

" But this is an audition for a jewel company..." Yu Yan continued to worry.

" All you have to do is trust me once more." Ting Mei casually replied.

" Jewel company..." Suddenly, Ting Mei seemed to have discovered something as she already admitted her disastrous fate, "Great! I'm done! With my luck, there is no way that this isn't an advertisement for Zhao Corporation and I bet the red lady is waiting right in the auditioning room... "

She exasperatedly turned to her little assistant and asked in a tired voice, " For which jewel company is it?"

Yu Yan was a bit confused by Ting Mei sudden turn of mood, she was very confident when she walked in earlier but now she had a very tired face like she was drained from every ounce of energy. Neitherless, she answered, " If I remember well, it's for the Zhao Corporation..."

Hearing the answer, Ting Mei didn't react back: she was already used to this type of unlucky coincidence but still hoped that Zhao Fan (Lady in red) wasn't in the auditioning room, it would cut her some slack.

She looked at the number that the earlier secretary handed her, she was number 43 and the number showing on the screen was already at 26. Till now, the ones that came out were only depressed or already bawling their eyes out. Even the most optimistic ones came out in a depressed state just like the most talented ones.

" Seems like the judge of this audition isn't to be underestimated... " thought Ting Mei as she watched the delicate lady from yesterday enter the room.

After a short moment, the lady came out with a shocked expression on her face like she was just traumatized. Seeing this, Ting Mei promptly walked to her side, " This reaction is not normal..."

" What happened?" gently asked Ting Mei.

The lady looked up and saw Ting Mei's gorgeous face and seemed to remember who she was, " You are..."

" Ting Mei, I am also a recruit," Ting said in a soft tone.

" You seemed traumatized, are you fine?" continued Ting Mei.

"No matter what happens during an audition, crying, raging or jumping of happiness are the normal reaction after an audition but being traumatized is the first time I've seen this! Moreover, I saw her acting skills, there were definitely not average!" reflected Ting Mei.

The lady looked up at Ting Mei and with a pained expression, she explained what happened to Ting Mei, " When I finished acting, I was praised by certain judges but when the lady in the middle saw my file, she started raging on me like crazy! She said that I can't act and that I have no chance to enter Heng Empire and started criticizing me like a madman. After she rent out all her anger, she immediately threw my file in the bin and said that she will never recommend me to enter the company because I will bring down the glory of Heng Empire!"

After saying the last bit, she started sobbing intensely, " My chances to enter the company are gone!"

Ting Mei immediately handed her a tissue to wipe her tears and as she handed the tissue, a sudden voice spoke up, " I already told you that Zhao Fan is in bad mood and that she already criticize all the girls that entered the room and to not audition if you are not strong enough to receive harsh criticism!"

The girl who spoke was a pretty and stern girl in her twenties that also auditioned earlier. Ting Mei remembered that she was one of the only ones to just silently swallow their anger when she came out.

" I know but this is my chance to enter Heng Empire..." sobbed the delicate lady.

" Heng Empire...No wonder she was so harsh on you!" exclaimed the stern lady.

" What do you mean?" asked the crying girl.

" Don't you know? She was just dumped by Heng Huan, more precisely rejected and has been moody all week long! She just started to calm her nerves but when she saw your file, she probably started raging again when she saw the name of your company! Don't you know? I thought everyone here already knew, that's why there are a lot fewer participants today! Because they know her temper!" explained the stern lady.

When she heard the explanation, Ting Mei's hope of not meeting Zhao Fan instantly shattered and she couldn't help but sigh, " So this is all my fault..."
