Suddenly a wife...

Bathing in an ancient era and getting dressed in a silk gown was a total different experience for someone like me, who barely got new clothes in her whole life.

Not to mention this luxury, and comfort. But it won't be for life time...

I've read the book and by judging it, I know that the actual female lead is not the Duchess . But the new Mistress of the Duke, who was nothing like the original owner of this body.

The original owner of the body was in love with her servant, but after being found out by her family was married to the Duke.

The Duke was always cold and heartless after the death of his first wife, he even started ignoring his own daughter Georgia.

The original owner of the body couldn't take it all and became vicious. She wasn't the female protagonist but the vicious female character in the middle of the book.

The Duke once went to a ball in the neighborhood country where he met the actual female protagonist , she was kind, beautiful and warm.

That was what he actually wanted to heal his wounded heart, and being the female lead she helped him regain his original life full of colors.

The end or where he chose the Duchess or the Mistress is still unknown to me, but this much is true that she didn't fell in love with him till then. Instead she cheated on him with her servant lover back at home, knowing this I don't think he'll be choosing her ever.

I mean who would want that kind of wife? I won't...

I just finished my bath when there was another servant girl waiting for me in the room.

"Oh my goodness Milady , you look as beautiful as ever. You are the most beautiful creature created by the God, and must be the one and only person. This beautiful silk blue gown will look best on your fair skin. ", that servant girl who was dressed in a black gown of ancient type kept on ranting on and on.

Judging by her appearance and talking skills she must be her personal maid servant, who was more than enough of a reason for her own down fall. This girl was a back stabbing bitch, she was the sister of her lover.

So the one who arranged there meetings and told her all sort of lie's about the Duke was this girl. What nice performance and great level of acting skills, I was almost fooled by her for a second there.

"Never mind Kate, I want to wear that pink gown with purple lace today. And for my hair please arrange them in a braid. Thank you ", I said knowing full well that the Duke never liked blue color after his wife's death.

So I don't want to be an eyesore in his eyes or argue with him like what happened in the book, the Duke was really upset over it.

"Why Milady? Did you not liked this dress? ", Kate said trying to look upset over it.

"Uh-huh? Are you going to ask questions to me now? Did you forget your place? ", I said in a tone which showed that I wasn't happy with her. I really wanna place this girl in her shoes, she should know her place and stop messing around with other people's lives.

"Please forgive this servant for talking too much Milady, I'll arrange your clothing according to your taste right away ", she said still trying boot licking with me.

After getting ready I saw the result in the mirror, I think I'm gonna fall in love with this Elizabeth who is as beautiful as a Fairy.

There was a sudden gasp at the door, I turned to look in the direction and was faced with a gorgeous looking Georgia.

She was wearing a yellow gown with white lace, and white gloves.

"What happened dear? ", I asked her with a smile . But little does anyone know that I was really happy seeing her, my mood got much better after seeing this little cutie.

"You look really beautiful Mommy, just like the Cinderella you mentioned in that story yesterday ", she said with her angelic voice and innocent face.

This was the first time in my entire life I've ever felt this beautiful and loved at once. Whatever happens in this book I'm not letting this child go away from me , I'm going to love her and get loved by her...

"Thank you so much Georgia, you look even more beautiful than me. Are you dressed because you know your father will be coming here today? ", I asked her while signaling her to come closer to me. I lifted her up and placed her in my lap ,while kissing the top of her crown .

"Of course, but Daddy doesn't seem to love me or want to meet me. So I don't know if he will meet up with me today, Mommy will you please ask Daddy to not punish me like this? I won't misbehave again in the future, I'll do everything Miss Williams ask me. And I'll never even eat sweets, please ask daddy to meet me. ", this child was so young.

Still she acted like a mature person at this age. I could feel the pain in her voice, the suffering of this innocent child who lost her parents at once.

"You are going to meet Mylord today Georgia, I promise you. So smile now and give Mommy a kiss ", I said and kissed her cheek which was like milk bun , soft and white with a little pink color.
