I am a duchess?

I was lost in my thoughts when the first rays of sunshine came through the window. I was awake for the whole night by her side. The reason you ask? It was because there was storm outside and also inside my heart.

How did I come here? No actually why did I come here? How am I supposed to go to 21st century? And if I am here then who am I in this book? Which character? And what in the name of God am I doing here?

I was still lost in my thoughts ,when I sensed some movement next to me. She stirred in her sleep and mumbled ,"Mommy don't leave me, I'll be very obedient" . The voice was sweet but the important point was it was lonely and eager. Eager to get the love of her mother a lot.

I got up from the bed and took a look at the little girl.Sunshine fell on her little silhouette and for first time I saw her clearly. She had beautiful golden hairs , cute red lips and small nose with fair skin. But there was dark circles around her eyes.

I guess she never slept well in the past. A small sigh came from her lips. So cute I've never seen such adorable kid till now, even in the daycare center.

Her name was Georgia , When I was reading the book I always felt bad for her. Between her father and step mother she was the one suffering most. She was lonely and desperate to gain the love of her parents, this girl behaved like a mature person instead of children of her age.

If for anyone I'll stay here for her. To make sure she won't suffer more. Her father Alexander always stayed away from home since her mothers death. And her new stepmother never gave her the love of a mother.

I planted a kiss on her forehead and walked towards the room I came from yesterday night. The corridor and the walls looked like some Royal Palace. There was red carpet on the floor , and different painted pictures of Royal people. I was never the big fan of antiques ,but I can tell by just looking at it that all the things were expensive and high class even in this era .

I opened the door of the room I came from. yesterday and went inside. The first thing I did was to find the mirror, I want to know if I'm the old me or someone else. Or even a big question ,which character of the book?

Finally I spotted a full length mirror with silver coating on the sides , it was designed beautifully . I gasped seeing my reflection, I can't believe my eyes. I was no longer the old me, My hairs which were brown before now it was black and long. Not ordinary long they were reaching down my knees .

Oh LA LA! am I Repunzal? My eyes were green in color with straight nose , followed by full pink lips and high cheekbones , and with above average figure. Gosh this girl is really beautiful, like some sort of Barbie doll. I wasn't this beautiful and gorgeous before, this is great.

But wait why does it looks somewhat familiar? I did read this description I'm the book. I gulped, cause surprise surprise ~~

This description of myself looks like the female lead Elizabeth , So I'm the female lead now? I am a duchess? Oh my lama God!!! Why all of this things are happening to me? I book travelled into an ancient era in London , I am the wife of the Duke , I am the step mother of Georgia .

And the most important part is I don't know how to go back. Am I stuck here for my whole life? How am I supposed to be the person I am not? And where is the real Elizabeth? Well it seems like going back is not in the options .

After thinking about all this things there was this small part of me which asked a complete different question. Even if I go back is there someone waiting for me? The answer is no, A Big No !

So why don't I choose this opportunity and respect the wishes of God? Make the best of it ?

Even if the Duke doesn't like or love me but I got the daughter. She is lovely and cute , and I don't want her to live the miserable life when I'm here. I'll make sure she is happy and she will make me happy by her cute smile. I know I'm being greedy to desire for a family or her love. But who cares? Their has to be a good reason for my book travel , and I think it's to protect her and love her.

So, It's decided I'm gonna love her and give her the care she deserves. I don't want to spoil her childhood like mine ,Without the love of family. Thank you God for giving me this wonderful opportunity ~~

I was still thinking about all this when I heard a small knock on my door . " My lady the water for your bath is ready, and the breakfast will be served shortly after you bath.", said a thin young girl in a polite manner , I think she is the servant here.

Now when I'm the Lady of this Villa I'll have to behave like one, now I thanks my etiquette classes .

"Thank you , anything else? ", I said when she showed no sign of leaving the room.

"Mylady Mylord will be returning home this afternoon, he commands you your presence at lunch. ", she said in a low voice and bowed her head .

"OK I'll be there", I said and smiled at her assuring her. When she left I was even more nervous now , Don't ask me why!

Because I don't know what type of person my sudden husband is . What if he finds out that I'm not his real wife? Oh my Lama God!! Help me please.
