2 Sister

All he could see was periwinkle, another name for lavender blue. There was only one person that he knew in My Hero Academia that had the color of periwinkle.

Nejire Hado, Lin Zhi's new older sister.

'But why would I be here?' Did he not have his room? Why was he on the same bed as his sister?

Lin Zhi looked around; the room did not appear to be a girl's room. It was simple, a little bit too simple. A closet, a desk, a computer, and a bed. The room was grey; it felt a lot like his dorm back in college.

'Wait, would Nejire have such a simple room?' He thought to himself.

Lin Zhi then realized that this wasn't his sister's room! This was his room!

Lin Zhi subconsciously tried to rub the back of his head, but his hands were firmly locked. 'Why are my hands tied?!'

'Untie me!'

Lin Zhi immediately called out his Stand, summoning a muscular grey-skinned humanoid covered in yellow diving gear. It wore a headpiece covering its face to below the place of its nose, slanting at a steep angle from the base of its forehead to a peak situated above the rear of its head by about half its height, leaving the face of an inverted triangle visible to the front; somewhat similar to the Red Crown of Lower Egypt.

'Good thing only Stand users can see Stands, I don't want her to be scared to death by my Stand.'

His stand immediately started untying the rope that bounded his hands. As he backed up from the periwinkle hair of his sister, his eyes bulged.

There she was, his favorite character in the entire anime.

Nejire Hado is a fair-skinned girl about 164 cm tall with wide, curious eyes. Her upper eyelashes long and thick, and her irises are a royal blue where her pupils are white. Her periwinkle hair covered her striped pajamas, all the way down to the knees.

"Yuuto…" His sister called out. It was as if she could sense her body pillow away from her grasps as her blue eyes slowly adjusted to the sunlight.

'Yuuto… Yuuto Hado!' Lin Zhi suddenly remembered his new identity.

Yuuto Hado, 15 years old. Freshman at U.A. High School, an academy where students gather to learn to become professional Heroes. He was immediately accepted through the recommendation of his sister.

'Right, I'm Yuuto now.' He repeatedly affirmed to himself. He then started to organize his new memories.

Hado household, upper class with both parents working abroad in England. It was just him, his sister, and her best friend who would always come to cook up a hearty meal.

However, as Lin Zhi searched through his new memories, he slowly started to shiver.

Not out of excitement.

But in fear.

Nejire Hado, who everyone believed to be naturally kind and curious girl… was also a bro-con!

While anyone else would've been happy at the news, Lin Zhi wasn't!

His sister had no common sense!

Yuuto died of food poisoning!

Nejire's friend didn't come to cook that day, so Yuuto would've made some simple dish since he couldn't cook that well either. After being persuaded to let his sister cook, she started concocting an abomination without him knowing because she wanted to give him a 'surprise!'

Lin Zhi didn't know what 'ingredients' she put in, but he made sure never to allow her in the kitchen again!

Wasn't the older sister type supposed to be great at cooking?! How come she was the total opposite?!

'Wait wouldn't that mean that she carried my dead body into my room and then slept?' Lin Zhi stopped the dark thoughts and smiled at his sister.

"Good morning Nejire-neesan."

Lin Zhi, no, Yuuto was immediately tackled by his sister and fell back onto the mattress.

"You're awake Yuuto! I was so worried when you passed out by my cooking! Was it that good? Do you want onee-chan to make dinner again?"

Not wanting to die again, Yuuto immediately shook his head.

'The World!'

9 seconds.

Yuuto activated his Stand's ability. The world froze as the colors inverted. This was why he wanted The World as his quirk. It had so many practical uses, but the only downside was its short duration of 9 seconds. However, as he gets stronger, it'll last longer!

'What's a good excuse…' He started thinking.

'Your cooking so good it should only be reserved for special moments? What if she wanted to cook during a holiday? No, no, I need a better excuse…'

5 seconds.

'... No Nejire-neesan, let me cook instead because you're always working so hard to be a good hero. Okay, okay, that should do the job.'

Time resumed as the color of the world returned to normal. He smiled at his sister and quickly responded.

"No, Nejire-neesan, let me cook instead. You're always working so hard to be a pro-hero so let me take this burden off your shoulder."

Nejire cutely tilted her head. "Ehhh? Me? I don't work that har—"

'The World!'

Time immediately stopped as Yuuto started sweating.

7 seconds.

It must be noted that while the time stopping powers of his Stand can be used in succession, it would tax the user's stamina as the 9 seconds would shorten to 7 and then to 4 and then eventually just a second.

'Okay, okay.' He calmed down and immediately started thinking again.

'It is the responsibility of the younger brother to cook for his sister! Alright, this might work!'

He took a deep breath and time started to resume.

Nejire looked at the ceiling, her royal blue eyes blinking then it turned to face Yuuto.

"Isn't it the other way aro—"

'The World!'

Yuuto started to breathe erratically; he couldn't continue abusing his ability, or else he would faint on the spot!

4 seconds.

'This is my last chance. I have to make it count!'

Time quickly resumed, royal blue eyes meeting royal blue.

"Nejire-neesan, it makes me happy whenever I see you smile as you eat my cooking. Your smile is my happiness; I hope to cook for you forever and ever so that I would always be happy. Please let me do this onee-san."

Yuuto cringed internally. His body started itching whenever he said a word. He didn't want to say something so cringe-inducing, but he didn't want to die!

He could see Nejire beaming at him with a megawatt smile. He immediately knew that he had messed up.

"Really? I'm so happy!" She exclaimed as she gave her brother a bear hug not allowing him to let go. "You promise? Pinky promise?!"

Yuuto was assaulted by the smell of lilies again as he tried to worm out of her embrace. "I promise! Just let me go!"

She immediately set him free as she showed him her pinky, waiting for him to do the same.

Yuuto instinctively knew that he should not accept it but seeing her eager eyes he couldn't just reject her.

Their pinkies then intertwined.

"If you break this promise, I'll cut off your fingers, and then I'll stab you with a thousand needles!"
