Intimidate

"Did you feel anything?" Luke asked after applying Time Acceleration.

"Just like before, I felt my speed enhanced." Aisyl replying as she performing some basic moves.

Luke nodded his head and continued maintaining the ability for a few seconds before abruptly stopped. With a pale face, Luke forced a smile, "It's done. You can go now."

"Eh? That was quick." Aisyl turned around and startled for a moment upon finding Luke's face went paler, "What's wrong? Is it related to the ability you executed just now?"

"More or less." Luke shortly replied before glancing at the watch, "You should go now. You don't want to be late, won't you?"

"But you-" Luke quickly interrupted her words, "It's fine. I already accustomed to this."

In the end, Aisyl was convinced by Luke's words and finally left after confirming his condition wasn't that bad.

Sighing to himself, Luke starts sorting his thought from the previous experiment. From his observation, Aisyl was able to exactly carry out the Time Acceleration like him. Still, Aisyl needs to directly contact him to be able to move fastly as Time Acceleration worked. And as he suspected, instead of Aisyl, who got the drawback, it was him who needs to carry two burdens at the same time. For now, Luke could maintain Time Acceleration for 14 seconds. And with Aisyl, he could only hold up mostly until 6 seconds before his head starts aching along with the appearance of inner injuries symptoms.

He wasn't sure what could probably the reason it happens since it never occurred to him before. If it skin-to-skin contact, he already did that a lot with his past opponent and there hasn't been a case where his enemy gets affected and able to use his ability.

"What could it be?" Luke mumbled under his breath as he fell into deep thought.

Realizing that thinking it would bring him nowhere, Luke stopped his action and decided to shower to refresh his body and mind.

Stepping out from the washroom, Luke firstly grabbed his phone and about to reply to Kuvar's message when his eyes landed on the video given by him. The title was "Spy attempt?"

Just by looking at the thumbnail, Luke already got a bad feeling about it. Taking a deep breath, he slowly made up his courage and played it. As the video started playing, Luke heard a hubbub of winds and ragged breath which he suspect came from the man who recorded the video.

"Guys! Watch this! I think I've caught an attempt of spying at our academy." The man said in a trembling voice that barely able to contain his excitement. Upon saying that, the man immediately directed the camera from his face into the sky direction.

In the sky, a flash of yellow light that moving at fast speed was visible to onlooker's eyes. The yellow light was performing some agile maneuver before suddenly a beam shot forth in its direction. However, the yellow light dodged the beam easily as if it was nothing but a thrown rock. But, in the next moment, everyone gets caught off guard when three beams suddenly shot simultaneously toward the yellow light thing. This time, the yellow thing couldn't dodge in time and ended up being shot and start falling like a broken kite.

While watching, Luke kept holding his breath as if watching an action movie. Though he was directly involved in that accident, he couldn't help but feel nervous upon seeing it from another perspective. As the video gradually ended, Luke finally let out a sigh of relief after concluding that the perpetrator's faces were unrecognizable. That's mean the only people who know the person behind this accident was limited to only LSA staff.

"What do you think about it, Luke? Did you think that person was a member of a criminal group?" Luke sees Kuvar's question after finishing the video.

Luke pondered for a bit before answered, "Probably just a dude that has nothing to do and decides to perform to show off, but ended up getting shot by the defense cannon due to the ruckus he caused."

Soon, a reply came by, "Who would believe to your nonsense? Of course, it must be a bad guy that tried to invade our academy!"

Luke's corner of mouth twitched at Kuvar's reply. He stated the truth, and yet his friend didn't even believe him.

'People nowadays really tend to believe rumours instead of the truth.' Luke facepalmed inwardly.

Since the appointment with the principal was scheduled at 12 o'clock, Luke had much spare time to change his clothes first at the dorm before he goes there. Entering his dorm room, Luke was greeted by the sight of Kuvar lying on his stomach, Timothy playing a game, and of course, Brian is nowhere in sight.

"Are you guys really had nothing to do?" Luke immediately asked once entering the room.

Without flipping around, Kuvar replied mumblingly, "Yes. I'm so bored to death. Say, Luke, should I just work as a human dummy? With my undying body, it could go well, and I'll produce a lot of money from it."

"And I could simply become a postman," Timothy said without averting his eyes from the phone.

"You guys!" Luke was speechless by their pessimistic attitude.

Casting a control to Timothy's phone, Luke threw it aside and speak with a serious expression, "Listen to me well now!"

Left with no other choice upon facing by serious Luke, Timothy obliged to Luke's request and began to sit on the side of the bed. Whereas, Kuvar was startled upon hearing Luke's serious tone before sitting up straight.

"Firstly, you Kuvar!" Luke pointed his finger at Kuvar before continued, "Your ability is good at its own. Though, it had many shortages currently. Those shortages could be resolved in the future by training or eat a miraculous pill. If by any chance neither of it worked. You can probably try visiting the cemetery and sleep on there for a day."

"Whatt?? Sleeping in cemetery??" Kuvar exclaimed in horror.

"Yeah, I heard potion also need some external forces for breaking through to a new level. It's called evolution."

In the past month, Luke also attend some classes that taught potion. And from it, he learns potion wasn't as simple as we heard. In fact, it held many secrets from both Joyn and Human Race. Unfortunately, the Alliance didn't plan to disclose any of that information to the public. From those classes, Luke getting taught that potion also sometimes need external help to be able to grant the user an evolution.

There are some cases Transcender goes sky-rocketed from rank F into A rank within a year. That's probably was the so-called evolution. From fire to magma. From electric to thunder. From tremor to an earthquake. And in Kuvar's case, he got himself an undying body. But that's only it. However, if he followed Luke's suggestion by visiting the grave and sleeping there for a day, a miracle would probably happen.

"B-But that was scary," Kuvar said tremblingly.

"If you planned to stay like now for the rest of your life, then you can just ignore my suggestion." Luke sharply replied before turning to Timothy, "And you! How many times did you train today?"

"N..None." Timothy replied guiltily with his head hanging low.

"I can't believe both of you synchronize very well in terms of laziness." Luke sighed.

Seeing their guilty look, Luke scribbled something on the paper before declared, "From today onwards, I'm going to oversee both your training by myself." Ignoring their shocking gazes, Luke continued, "I've written a schedule for your training. If I later see you skipping one of the training I planned-" Luke paused at his sentence and glanced around before spotting a glass lying above the desk, "Imagine this as you." He then proceeds to float the glass highly before releasing it and let the glass crashing over the ground into pieces.

Seeing the glass break into pieces, Timothy and Kuvar gulped hard before quickly nodded their heads. From today, they already decided they would no longer anger Luke.
