30 Cafeteria

After Timothy has done changed his clothes, Luke and the trio immediately headed to the canteen. As the trio hadn't known about Luke's food taste, they proposed to go to the canteen, which had the most menu on LSA. In the middle of the walk, Luke use this spare time to upgrade his "Control" skill.

<Are you sure you want to upgrade this skill?>

<Yes or no>

Without hesitation, Luke choose yes.

The system turned bright for a seconds before replaced by a congratulatory message.

<CONGRATULATIONS>

<You've upgraded "Control" into rank E>

<Control weight limit has been increased>

<AP: 0/100>

Luke raised his eyebrows upon seeing the upgrades feature. He looked at Kuvar, who was currently chatting with Timothy. He smirked before whispered, "Control."

Kuvar was talking with Timothy when suddenly he feels like his body crashed against an invisible wall and immediately fell on his butt. Timothy, who watched this scene, furrowed his eyebrows in puzzlement, "What are you doing, Kuvar? Don't tell me you want to sit here?"

"Of course not. I think I crashed against something," Kuvar said with a tone of uncertainty.

"What crash are you talking about? I was the entire time talking to you and never seen any single creature or thing bumped to you." Timothy spoke in bewilderment.

Luke watched from the side, sniggered silently while hiding his trembling hand. That movement of him took quite an amount of FP. It seems he still had a long way to go before being able to fly freely like a psychic.

After guided by the trio, Luke finally spotted the cafeteria.

The place was a two-floor building with an open balcony on the second floor. Instead of walls, each side was covered by glass. It was purposely made so that the students can enjoy the scenery while eating. On the right side of the cafeteria exist a beautiful pond surrounded by mostly couples. While on the left side is an open garden with many planted beautiful flowers.

As the sky already turned dark, people could even see the reflected moon on the crystal-blue pond. Luke couldn't help but stopped in his tracks as well to enjoy such captivating scenery. After satisfying himself with the view, Luke spoke to the trio, "Let's go."

During queuing, someone suddenly cuts off their line by directly passing Luke on the front side. Luke stared angrily at the man and bellowed, "Hey! Don't your parents taught you that cutting queue is bad?"

The man turned around upon hearing Luke's harsh words. With a burly build, the man looks sharp and fierce. As he faced Luke, his fierce look turned sharper, "And don't your parents taught you shouldn't find trouble with a guy you cannot mess with?"

"Are you that person?" Luke paused before glanced at the man badge which showing number 9 and letter B, "Because I don't feel you are the one."

The man's face turned green in humiliation and anger, whereas the crowd who watched this scene began laughing.

"YOU!!" The man clenched his fist hard, and veins quickly popped out on his head.

"What? Do you want to punch me? Here, punch me." Luke taunted the man more and deliberately proceed his face closer to the man. Luke kept taunting him without any fear because he read the rules on LSA. There, the rules stated that fighting between students within the school is prohibited unless the two parties were in a lesson that required both students to be battled.

But of course, even with the rules on, bullying still occurred on LSA. It just they did the bullying secretly, unlike in Nayn School, where people with good background could bully openly.

Luckily, they were in a cafeteria where many people witness the scene. Undoubtedly, the man couldn't do as he pleased. After struggling with his rage feeling, the man slowly loosened his fist and spoke with a threatening tone, "If I see you again somewhere, you're gonna be dead meat!"

"I'm waiting for that day." Luke grinned, which anger the man more.

The man didn't dwell any longer and immediately stormed outside the cafeteria. Who would be in the mood to eat after being humiliated by an E rank?

Luke didn't have to worry about the man revenge since he wasn't a weakling either. If ever that day comes, he'll surely make him taste the might of skill control!

"Tch, you already getting in trouble within a day." Kuvar clicked his tongue at how reckless Luke's action was.

"It's fine, it's fine. I wouldn't affix this trouble to you and deal with by myself." Luke assured the trio in case they would feel troubled by his action.

"You idiot! I'm not worried about that. I'm more worried about you!" Kuvar chided Luke with a worried tone.

"If I said that's fine, that matter is settled. Let's not ruin our mood by talking about it." Luke casually said as he began placing a few foods on his plate.

Seeing his nonchalant attitude, Kuvar and the rest felt relaxed.

'If the troublemaker didn't care much about it, why should we?' They thought in unison before placing food on their plate as well.

Luke and the group decide to eat on the second floor since the scenery it provided was great. Fortunately, not many people are present. Thus, they managed to find some empty tables and began sat there.

During eating, Luke's phone began vibrating. He took out of it and glanced at the caller's name. Seeing it was his mother, Luke excused himself and headed toward the balcony.

"Hey, mom!" Luke greeted delightedly.

"I thought you were gonna forget mom the moment you entered LSA." Luke's mother said teasingly at the side of the phone.

"Of course not! I was just a bit busy earlier and happen only to have spare time now."

"So, how's school?"

Luke began narrating his story from achieving the lowest rank ability, battle class, roommates, etc. He only excluded the cafeteria incident since he didn't want his mother to become worried about it.

After talking for a few minutes, Luke hanging up the phone with an excuse his friend was already waiting for him. Before hanging up, Luke also didn't forget to ask his mother to deliver his clothes tomorrow.

Resting his arm against the railing, Luke's gaze stopped at the beautiful moon hanging in the sky. While enjoying the brushes of the chill wind night, an enchanting voice sounded from the side, "Isn't it beautiful?"

Because a cloud happened to cross the moon, the balcony shrouded in darkness. Therefore without seeing the voice owner's appearance, Luke answered absent-mindedly, "Yeah, it's beautiful."

She chuckled a little, "You're quite aesthetic for a man."

"Yeah, I really appreciate beautiful things." Luke replying seriously before adding, "I don't mean I hate ugly things, though."

"Haha, you're also funny."

"Probably."

As both are silent type people, they don't talk a lot but find themselves simply enjoyed the landscape provided in front of them and occasionally exchanging a few ideas.

Soon after, Luke's roommates began calling him from the insides urging him to eat the food, or they will eat his food instead.

He called to the stranger, "Hey, let's meet here again next time."

"Sure." She responded.
