Guilt

The rain was pouring, noises of cars and indistinct chattering from passerbys. She looked up into the grey sky and wondered, "Was it really ok to leave him behind? Do I really not love him?" Dropping to her knees she started to bawl, the rain poured harder and people walk around her. Her heart felt like it had been shattered into a million pieces.

Slowly the rain came to an end, and the sun started to peek from behind the clouds. She laid there, on the cold wet sidewalk, contemplating her life and it's worth. Suddenly, a man approached her, extended his arm and offered her a hand. She reluctantly accepted his help. After his help she bowed and thanked him, but as she turned around to leave she felt very dizzy, luckily the man caught her before she fell to the ground.
